Story
Hi! My name is Mbappe (pronounced M bah pay). My name is a good one because there is a soccer ball player with that name and I’m black and white simuttlar to a soccer ball. Plus I’m athletic and active! I am a girl dog. I’ve had 10 days of training with Bark Dog Training. So I learned a few things. I know SIT, DOWN, and walking on a stringy thing, hmmmm the humans call them leashes. It makes sure your human is attached to you. I am also house & crate trained. I get along well with other dogs & kids (not tested with cats). I am a typical active pup and of course, I still enjoy to exercise my chompers, as an avid chewer, expect to take me to the Pet Store to pick out many hard bones. Many! I can be a bit shy on first introductions, but warm up fast. I would love an active family that will also continue with my training because my brain still has so much room in there for more words that make my body do things for treats. You know! In case you’re interested in how I came out to have these ears and adorable tuxedo, here’s what my ingredients are: She has had a DNA done and is 64% Pit Bull, 15.5% Great Pyrenees, 10% lab, 5% blue heeler, and 5% Staffordshire. I think they forgot 99% good girl! And I’m black and white not blue so what’s that about!?! I can’t wait to meet you, remember, I need a brief warm up so don’t expect immediate wiggles! You will get them though. Basics: Mbappe- spayed female, chipped, vaccinated, 7 months, large, black/white, Pitbull mix, great with dogs and kids, not cat tested, potty and crate trained, shy at first but warms up quick, doing training class, active How To Adopt: Please sign up to adopt me. DogHouse ArtHouse’s processes are still under construction, so please complete an application with our sister rescue God’s Dogs Rescue here https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/GDR/Dog/ Located in south Texas but can move out of state Partially filled out applications, or applications without a vet reference will not be considered without thorough explanation as to why it cannot be fully completed. Story
Buddy was hungry and going through trash when he was rescued and rehabilitated. Buddy was then transported to Paws Ranch Rescue & Animal Sanctuary. During rehabilitation, Buddy was taught to "Sit", "Laydown", "Stay", "Spin", "Drop it", "Don't bite", give his paw and to sit & wait for his food to be placed on floor then he would be released from his state of stay with words like "Ok, get it.". Buddy loves learning and is currently looking for a family to learn & grow with. Buddy is brave, vocal, obedient, snuggly, and loyal. Buddy loves people and dogs. ##1990121##

Story
Sam is a sweet-natured male roughly 19” high at the shoulder. He is healthy and lean, with a muscular figure and weighs 46 lbs and likely between 2-4 years old. Sam has been neutered and chipped; his vaccines are also up to date. Sam is playful, has lots of energy, loves to be walked, and does well on a leash. He is easy to walk and very people-oriented.  He loves his toys, plays fetch and “keep away”. He will sit up on his back legs and can shake hands. His happy and playful demeanor is most noticeable in person and makes him immediately loveable! His foster parents have been keeping Sam in their garage and letting him out back to play and go to the bathroom. He has an open crate to sleep in with bedding; he sometimes sleeps on top of the crate, sometimes inside it. He is house-trained and lets his foster parents know with a quick bark when he needs to go out to do his business. Sam’s eating habits are good. He is eating Purina Pro Plan twice a day - morning and evening.  His foster parents have several dogs that stay in the house. While Sam stays in the garage, all of the dogs go outside together sometimes. Sam gets along with the other dogs when in the backyard with them.  Sam is not suited to a home with a cat. He does not get along with them so he should not be adopted by someone with cats.  If you are interested in learning more or meeting Sam, please contact Michael McMains, mcmainsjmichael@gmail.com, (210) 831-4321. ##1997367##

Story
Rosie is an ideal companion! She is extremely obedient, extraordinarily silly, and has the most beautiful smile. She enjoys being active, or hanging out inside with a toy and belly rubs. She will give the most gentle kisses if you ask. She is independent, but will absolutely snuggle up if that is what you like. She is crate trained, kennel trained, leash trained, adores toys (a bit of a toy hoarder :)!), she will never destroy a cozy bed, and she is great at tug of war. She has great instincts and picks new skills up quickly. She's great with men and women, children and adults. She is one smart cookie! She is quite dog selective, so for that reason, we strongly recommend Rosie be in the only dog in the home, unless its with a small dog or puppy that you do a slow intro with. She does live here at the sanctuary alongside several other dogs and does just fine, but we are very careful not to mingle Rosie with other dogs for one-on-one or group play time. The few times that she has been off leash with other dogs, she has not been a happy camper. She is OK walking on leash alongside other dogs in every test we've done with her, however, so there may still be hope. She is off leash every day around kenneled and crated dogs and never picks fights through fences. Rosie does have a prey drive--she has a bit of cattle dog in her DNA--and should not be around cats or other small animals e.g. chickens, bunnies, etc. unless you want a good chase. Though, small dogs may be ok if you really take your time with slow introductions (as previously mentioned).

Story
Ruby is a petite little spitfire. She is extremely dog friendly, people friendly, crate trained, kennel trained, and simply and all around great girl. She is a young and impressionable pup, looking for direction and guidance. She is medium energy, and does enjoy a good dig session, keep away in the yard, and taking herself for walks on the leash. She will keep you on your toys with her silliness. Once she gets her squirms out in the yard, she is ready to chill out and be a total couch potato.
