Story
Welcome Fozzie! He came from a feral dog colony in central Washington. He was born on 01/01/2025, ringing in the new year in a pile of garbage on a vacant porch.   He has been DNA tested and is a mix of American Pit Bull Terrier and Siberian Husky among other breeds. Feel free to explore the profile here: http://embk.me/smokey1515?utm_campaign=cns_ref_dog_pub_profile&utm_medium=other& Yogi is a stocky and serious puppy with a big presence even as a baby. He has matured into an impressive young dog with many notable skills including leash training, crate training, car rides, comfort in busy public spaces, hiking on and off lead, and comfort around loud and unusual sounds. He does not toilet in his crate, but he has never taken to being confined in a crate and will still protest loudly. He prefers to be in a room or in the yard. Though he still makes some mistakes, he is already quite good at being loose in a room without getting into too much.  Yogi will be the perfect companion for someone seeking a dog with an independent personality and little need for constant human reassurance. He would be great in a rural setting where he could spend lots of time outside and will likely make for a level headed property guardian with proper guidance, or a travelers companion who will always have a keen eye for anything unusual and no particular interest in making friends with people and animals outside the nuclear family.   Yogi will come neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and dewormed.  The adoption fee is $300 and includes a leash, collar, ID tag, food sample, medical records, and some bonus goodies. To be considered to adopt, please begin by visiting www.murcismission.org and sending in an application.  ##2288993##

Story
Welcome Fozzie Bear! She came from a feral dog colony in central Washington. She was born on 01/01/2025, ringing in the new year in a pile of garbage on a vacant porch. Fozzie has grown to be an adorable little girl who is highly inquisitive, independent, and brave. She explores the world with caution and curiosity and thrives on the company of other dogs. She will likely mature to look more like a malinois than either of her primary breeds, and she's somewhat petite in stature, likely to mature in the 40-50lb range. Fozzie is leash trained, crate trained but still loud at times, accustomed to car rides, hikes on or off lead, comfortable in public spaces, and conditioned to a variety of loud sounds. She will be a perfect companion for someone seeking a companion who is capable of holding their own and conducting themselves in an independent manner.  She has been DNA tested and is a mix of American Pit Bull Terrier and Siberian Husky among other breeds. Feel free to explore explore the profile here:  http://embk.me/smokey1515?utm_campaign=cns_ref_dog_pub_profile&utm_medium=other& Fozzie has a profound overbite and will need dental surgery once her adult teeth grow in so that her lower canine teeth are not penetrating the roof of her mouth. Murci's Mission will sponsor this care and Fozzie will go home with a medical waiver for dental evaluation at 8-12 months.  Fozzie also experienced a major trauma to her right front foot before coming to MM. She will always have a large scar on that foot and may develope arthritis in the limb later in life. She should not be allowed to become overweight and add extra tax to the limb.  Fozzie will come spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and dewormed. The adoption fee is $300 and includes a leash, collar, ID tag, food sample, medical records, and some bonus goodies. Story
Meet Toadstool! Lovingly nicknamed, Toad, Toaders... AKA The Toadal Package!  If you're looking for the perfect little low-rider pitty mix, you have to check out Toadstool! Unlike the mushroom, Toadstool won't ruin your life, and you won't end up in the hospital after smooching him. He's the perfect combination of silly and sweet, and would love to show you his lovable personality.  Just like a real Toad, this guy has a very particular diet of strictly hydrolized protein. If he strays from his diet, he will end up an itchy mess of a pup. Keep this in mind as it will be a lifelong requirement.  Toad is a very friendly, outgoing, and sweet young dog. He is good with dogs with proper, slow introductions, and will be okay with dog-savy cats. This pup is low-to-medium energy, and doesn't require miles and miles to run, but rather enrichment and frequent mild exercise such as fetch, walks, tug, etc.  Toad's adoption fee is $300, and he comes home neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped.  If you are interested in adopting Toad, please begin by submitting an application at www.murcismission.org! ##2251034##
