Story
What my friends at Little Victories say about me: Found roaming Route 60, sweet Sixty is a majorly cuddly guy! He is very wiggly and happy to see anyone who crosses his path, rolling on the ground for immediate belly rubs. Sixty has grown up in the shelter, so he has a lot of learning to do. But this guy is SO willing to learn and will be a lot of fun to teach. He does very well with dogs who can match his play style, but Sixty can be a bully and must be supervised with other animals. Sixty loves children despite his size. The best kind of home for Sixty: Sixty needs a lot of help learning how to exist in the world, including house training, as he has spent most of his life with us. Like any adolescent pup, he will require a family dedicated to nurturing and teaching him to be a dog. He does well with other dogs and cats who can handle his energy. Sixty has not had a lot of socialization and does not always respect social cues from other dogs. He should be supervised when with other animals. He has a hard time understanding boundaries with other dogs and would likely do better as the only one in the house. Sixty could live with another dog if his family is willing to manage his overarousal. He should not be left unattended outside of a crate.

Story
What my friends at Little Victories say about me: Selia is one of our oldest residents and has recently been promoted to office dog. She loves car rides and walking in the park, but she needs supervision around other dogs. With the right family, Selia could possibly live with another pup. She is a very smart senior dog! Selia has lived at Little Victories for a very long time, so the transition to a home environment would likely be a challenge. The best kind of home for Selia: Selia will need an adopter willing to supervise her with other dogs and children. As one of our Sanctuary Sweethearts, she may require a home visit for any potential adopters if deemed necessary. She has spent her entire life at Little Victories, so she will need an adjustment period in her future home. She was diagnosed with cancer recently and only has a prognosis of three to four years. We hope she can find a peaceful place to live out her days comfortably.

Story
*Registered American Bully What my foster family says about me: Layla is a fun-loving, energetic little dog! Her favorite activites are going for walks and swimming -- she is SUCH a water dog! This girl has never met a stranger and has such a wonderful temperament, even in stressful situations. With a little training, Layla could be the kind of dog you can take anywhere with you! She loves to destroy a good stuffy toy, but she never tears up her beds or blankets. She is great both in the car and at the vet. The best kind of home for Layla: Layla is looking for a home ready for adventure! She is an excited little girl with lots of energy to burn. Her best fit will be looking for an active dog to take hiking or for long walks, to play with her, and to teach her how to be the best girl she can be. She is used to water and loves swimming. She is mostly house trained but will need watched closely in a new environment. Layla does well with other dogs and children who are prepared for a high-energy pup! She has not been tested with cats but can be for an interested party.

Story
Shawnee loves food and will do tricks for treats! This guy is impossibly cuddly and loves to be wherever the people are -- so much so that he has quite a bit of confinement anxiety. He can be a bit timid and jumpy with new sounds and sights, but we imagine Shawnee hasn't see much of the world yet. Shawnee was found as a stray, so his history is a mystery. He is extremely motivated by food and should be very easy to teach. The best kind of home for Shawnee: Shawnee is anxious and could greatly benefit from obedience training and confidence building. We do not know if he has been around small children, but he tested well with cats. Shawnee does well with select dogs who do not retaliate when he gets a little overstimulated. He should, however, be fed separately because of the intensity of his food drive. He loves to play chase with other dogs, but sometimes he gets too excited. He needs the right dog companion to balance that excitement level or to be the only dog in the home.
