Meet Harper! Harper is a gentle soul on a journey to find confidence and trust in the world around her. While she may be a little shy and cautious at first, she is blossoming every day with the help of her foster family. Harper is searching for a forever home that will provide her with the patience and understanding she needs to thrive. Her ideal family will offer her a calm and safe environment where she can feel secure, along with a doggy companion to help show her the ropes and remind her that life can be full of joy and fun. A securely fenced yard is a must for this curious girl, as she’s known for her adventurous spirit and knack for exploring! Harper is still working on perfecting her potty training and will need a family committed to helping her succeed. She’s also receiving support from her vet to explore options that can help ease her anxiety, and her new family should be willing to continue this care as she grows into her best self. Harper’s transformation won’t happen overnight, but she is absolutely worth the wait. With time, love, and understanding, this special pup will become an incredible and devoted companion. If you’re ready to offer Harper the patience and compassion she deserves, she’ll reward you with a lifetime of loyalty and love.

Meet Roscoe – A Perfect Blend of Snuggles & Smarts! 🌟 Name: Roscoe 🎂 Age: 1-2 years 🐶 Breed: Perfect Pittie 🥌 Weight: 65 lbs 💉 Vaccination Status: Roscoe is current on rabies, distemper, leptospirosis, lyme, and bordetella vaccines, as well as Heartworm/Tick, and intestinal parasite screenings until January 2026, ensuring his continued health and well-being. 🏡 Ideal Home: Roscoe is looking for an active, patient family who enjoys playtime, walks, and little adventures, but also loves to cuddle up on the couch for some quality snuggle time. 🐕 Compatibility: Gets along well with other dogs, though he’s still learning to share his exciting toys. Does well with chews and food around. His energetic nature and tendency to chase moving objects mean he might not be the best match with cats. Best suited for homes with older children who understand that his enthusiastic, puppy personality can sometimes be a bit overwhelming for younger kids. 👂 Special Needs: None ✂️ Grooming: Normal maintenance 🐾 Training: Roscoe is making great strides in learning patience and managing his excitement during play. He’s crate trained for both alone time and bedtime, and he’s incredibly smart and eager to learn whatever you’re willing to teach him! Ready to add a bundle of energy and affection to your family? Story
Name: Waverly Age: 3 1/2 Breed: mixed breed - pit/lab Gender: female Weight: 42 lbs Good with kids: not fostered with children Good with dogs: yes! Good with cats: not fostered with kitties in WI but was said to be good with them at her previous foster home Current on vaccinations: Yes Fixed: Yes Foster location: Waupaca, WI Application & Website: https://www.ourpackanimalrescue.com/adoption.html Adoption includes Certified Vet Inspection, and Prior vetting paperwork. Bio: Waverly’s story is a beautiful reminder of why Our Pack Animal Rescue’s motto, “No Mom Left Behind,” means so much. Last summer, her precious puppies made their way to Wisconsin from Alabama (pictured here) but Waverly couldn’t join them just yet. She was heartworm positive and needed time to heal. Through months of treatment, Waverly never gave up, and neither did we. Now, her patience and perseverance have brought her to this moment—healthy, happy, and finally here in Wisconsin! This petite, sweet mama is ready for her next chapter, and as you can see, she couldn’t be more excited to find her forever home. Waverly has waited a long time to feel this kind of love, and we know her perfect family is out there, ready to give her all the happiness she so deserves. Waverly is a good girl in her foster home. She is fostered with other dogs, eats well when fed with them and hasn’t been destructive when out. She’s one polite mama! She’s kenneled when foster mom is gone during the day but at night she prefers to sleep kenneled where she can see you or her favorite is sleeping with you! Unfortunately, Waverly did test heartworm positive again upon arriving to WI so she’s beginning her second round of treatments. At this time, due to her heartworm positive status – Waverly will only be available for adoption through a foster to adopt arrangement.January 18, 2025, 1:41 pm
