Story
Shine enjoys being petted and purrs loudly. Once she knows you, she will run to the door to be petted. She’s playful, loves toys, and especially enjoys hunting down small treats tossed her way. She also loves scratching posts. Shine is all black with a little white spot on her chest and belly. She will quickly become a loving companion in your life. Shine is one of 3 young stay female cats from our neighborhood, spayed them & got their rabies shot, and now they need a loving home! These sweet girls are all under a year old & have been together since birth. They have not been around other pets, only each other. They are familiar with people but are still adjusting to indoor life. They use the litter box with no issues, and they’ve had their rabies shots. They can be shy with new people, but friendly, and with a patient, quiet home, they will be loyal and loving pets. They would do best in a calm environment, especially Sassafras, who would thrive if adopted with one of her sisters.

Story
My daughter and her husband fostered a litter for a pet rescue in Huntsville, around 10 years ago. Two of the kittens and the mom cat were adopted thru PetSmart. The two that we still have were so shy/feral that my daughter thought they were unadoptable, so she and her husband kept them. The cats spend their time under a couch or bed when guests are in the house. My daughter died a few years ago, and now her husband has problems and can no longer care for the cats. I would like to rehome them, or possibly they might become working cats, though they have never been outdoors. My only alternative is to have them both put down, and I hope I won't have to do that. Thanks very much for whatever help or advice you can give. Alma K

Story
Tombo and Pazu are brothers and are about 4 years old. They are a mix of manx and himilayan. They love to snuggle up with each other and nap. Photo number 2 is Tombo and 3 is Pazu, they can be hard to tell apart. My family is having to rehome them because my younger sister has recently been diagnosed with leukemia and is allergic to cats so when she comes home we won’t be able to have them. They must be adopted together, as they are extremely bonded and it would make it easier for them to adapt to a new home. Tombo is blind in one eye but it doesn’t cause him any issues or pain and we have never had to have any vet visits for it. They both love to explore outside in our backyard and get some sun. They’ve been in a home with two dogs since they were babies, so they are used to being around them. They also do well around children and have never scratched or bitten anyone when picking them up or petting.
