American Shorthair kittens & cats in Chandler, Arizona

My daughter rescued this cat as a kitten. She is about 1 year old. My new property manager will not allow 2 cats and we have an older cat already. She is good with our dogs and my 9 year old daughter.

He has lived in a shelter  for a number of years after his owner passed away.  Prince is a very cautious guy around new humans but loves the company of other cats. He has come a long way since first arriving at the shelter. He enjoys being brushed, rubbed with scatcher, and petted on his back. He loves Fancy Feast too! Prince would be consider a "socially awkward cat".  What is a socially awkward cat?  Some cats are shy, timid, or fearful of people and other cats. They may hide, avoid, or even lash out when approached by strangers. These cats are not mean or unlovable; they are just socially awkward and need extra time and patience to trust and bond with their human companions. They may never become affectionate lap cats, but they have their own unique ways of showing love and appreciation. If you are looking for a cat who will challenge you, surprise you, and reward you with loyalty and devotion, then you might be the perfect match for one of our socially awkward cats.   Because these cats require more patience and understanding than most, we have a few special policies regarding them:   We will ask more questions about your home environment, other pets, children, and other details to make sure you are the right match for the cat. Please don't be discouraged if you are not the right fit! We have many other cats, and one of them is sure to be a fit. We typically arrange video meet-and-greets for these cats for the initial contact. Most of these cats get stressed out by new situations, and allowing them to be seen without that stress trigger makes for a better experience for everyone. His mama (a gorgeous Siamese with sky blue eyes) was trapped and gave birth to Oreo, his brother, and two sisters in the trap shortly after.  Before he was named Oreo we called him Feisty - of all the kittens he had the most to say as we brought him home. We couldn't have been any farther off.   We've come to know Oreo to be a thoughtful, gentle, affectionate, and patient kitten.    Of the litter, he is the most timid, but he is by no means shy. He has a slow, old-soul feel about him and takes his time to assess any situation. He'll often observe as his litter mates tumble over a toy while he patiently waits his turn and his purr is a soft rumble like a storm a couple miles in the distance.    Once he's opened up it's not uncommon for him to stop by for a snuggle. While I'm working he'll sometimes snuggle in my arms and chest and politely avoids laying on the keyboard. Otherwise he'll rest somewhere soft nearby.    If he's anywhere he ought not to be, a gentle clap will get him out of trouble. He will even (happily) leave a room if you call him with a "here kitty kitty" as we've tied that phrase to treats. He is a very, very good kitten.    Things we love about Oreo: • He stomps a little when he comes down the stairs and it's adorable. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Nova - very demure, very mindful, very cutesy.  Nova is a very, very sweet girl. Soft spoken, gentle, just precious. She has the softest little meow and a nearly silent purr. She loves to sleep on your lap and can be frequently found winding through legs affectionately.  She’s not demanding at all, but she’ll check in for some snuggles if she catches you relaxing. Did I mention she’s a giant sweetheart?  One thing to be prepared for - when she really gets into the snuggle she can get excited and affectionately nibble on your fingers. It’s her way of expressing her affection for you but she can get excited. The best way to stop this is to pause petting her for a little while so she can relax a little. Simon is a 2 year old orange tabby. Simon is very playful and looks to interact. He has a sister he has been with since birth. Her name is Margo she is a black and brown tortoise shell. They are littermates, and I would prefer they are not separated. These two are the most loving cats I personally have ever been around. They both love unconditionally and never once have they bitten me (owner for last almost 2 years), they both love to snuggle and "make biscuits" whenever they get the chance. They both use their scratching posts/pads and haven't damaged any of the furniture. Margo does really well with little children and will let them hold her for long periods of time. They have many toys and items that are available to anyone who takes them.

Hi my name is venus ! I love to nap, good back scratches and eating. Although you might not see me for the whole day while I nap and loud noises or even not so loud ones can be very scary to me, I know company is always needed and a good cuddle. I was taken in during a terrible storm one day and have been the best cat ever since but my family is going through a loss right now and due to life circumstances they have to move away and cant keep me. I am looking for a warm home filled with lots of love...

Larry is a loving young cat. He likes to have his head scratched and he is very active. Larry is fast and likes to go outside. Because of my recent knee surgery I move slowly to he runs outside but he always returns The rv park I live in does not want pets to be outside. This is why I have to let him go. I can't keep up with him anymore.

This little gal was found abandoned behind an abandoned building. I don't think she's a stray as she was absolutely terrified of every little sound. I tried to find an owner with no luck. She loves to explore, look around, and yell at things. She doesn't love being touched or play. She's suspected to be around 1-2 years old. She's clearly got some trauma in her past, and she needs an owner who can care for her in the way she deserves. I'm unfortunately not that person. If you are, please reach out.

*NEEDS TO GO IN A HOME WITH NO OTHER PETS This cat is my best friend and I love her so dearly. She is sassy and mischievous and cuddly but lets you know when she has had enough and where she accepts pets! She loves to play with fish-pole cat toys and snuggle at night next to you. She NEEDS a clean litter box. Please clean it everyday for her if you adopt her. She prefers something she can move around, a finer grit than something like pellets. If you gave other pets, she will mark her territory on the floor/bed. If the litter box isnt clean, she will mark her territory as well to let you know she is unhappy. I will be picky about the home she goes to because I care so much about her
