American Shorthair kittens & cats in Port Hueneme, California

Let me just say that Romes is the best and it kills me to let him go! I have never seen such a warm, emotional animal like my boy. He is playful, VERY loving and just wants you by his side all the time. He was a little kitten when I rescued him from an Orange County shelter. He is a 7 year old angel now. We NEED him to go to a loving home. Nothing less than a true animal lover will do. He will make anyone’s life better. He’ll be there to make you feel better when you are feeling down and he will be there to share in the good times.

Hi my name is Midnight! I'll be three years old on August 31st. My current owners would describe me as playful, confident, and curious. I'm a little shy at first, but once you pull out the toys we'll be best friends! I'm a hunter-gather by nature. I love leaves and those little acorn thing. I've never been outside, but when no one is looking I reach my paw underneath the screen door and pull whatever I can inside. My owner was a little confused at how leaves kept getting inside until she saw me one day. I hope this gives you enough information to decide if your home will be a good fit for me. Tiger was my father's cat, but my Dad passed away recently and I can't take care of him. He is a very friendly, healthy cat; about 7 years old and housebroken. He likes to snuggle at night, but he is also very independent and he is used to being able to roam outside. He would be a great companion for a single person (probably a man). Unfortunately, he has a tendency to "play-bite" and scratch when he is done being petted. As far as I know, he has never seriously bitten or attacked anyone. Groomers were able to trim his nails and vet visits were not a problem. My Dad was able to tolerate this and focus on the good side of Tiger's personality, but he is probably not an appropriate pet for an elderly person, children, or someone who can't handle his unpredictable behavior. I sincerely hope someone will be able to give him a chance.

Typical youngest sibling, he cries for his way ;) ALSO AVAILABLE ARE: KITTY - 9 MONTHS - "MISTER MELLOW" Kitty comes when he’s called (which is impressive considering his name is currently “Kitty” in a house full of cats.) He’s mellow and cuddles. But watch out because he has a weakness for Cheeze-its and will steal them right out of your hand! 🧀 SUKI - 1 YEAR - "LITTLE MISS LAPCAT" Suki was a teenage mini mama who’s so ready to move past that drama. Just a baby herself, she’s a social sweetie who’s a hybrid adventurer x snuggler. BOO - 9 MONTHS - "MISTER KNOWS WHAT HE WANTS" Boo marches to the beat of his own drum and makes sure you do too ;) When he wants cuddles, he cuddles (tucking into your armpit or against your rump 😹 or feet). When he wants attention, he will stare you down until he gets it. And sometimes he just wants to do his own thing – so he does. He has an admirable quiet confidence. DOLCE - 9 MONTHS - "LITTLE MISS SWEET AS A COOKIE" Among this group, “Queen of Cozy” is a hard won title, but Dolce’s got it. She’s the first one to come to bed, a champion sleeper, expert cuddler and lap warmer 💗 GRAYSON - 5 MONTHS - "LITTLE MISS MAKES YOU WORK FOR IT" Grayson chose self care and said “no thanks” to our photo shoot. She’s a shy gal who takes time to trust, but once you’re in, she’s a sweetheart (and has been coming out of her shell more and more!) She gives kisses and licks and is a gentle presence – unless you’re a flying bug, then let the games begin!
