Story
Who runs the world? Girls! Who runs the world? Cleo-cat-ra! She is a vibrant, whip smart, and vibrant kitty. Her markings are very unique and she is a social butterfly. She is no wallflower. She explores everything and she loves her cat wheel for some cardio. People often comment that she must have some Bengal in her because of her unique looks and her big personality. She and her family were taken from a high kill shelter and fostered together. They are a beautiful and chill family. Cleo-cat-ra would be happy paired with another mellow cat, a friendly dog, someone from her family or content as a single kitty. As a single kitty it would be ideal if his human companion worked from home or was retired to give her company. She is outgoing and loving but also independent and can entertain herself. We look forward to introducing you to this wonderful kitty!

Story
Cindy came to her foster family as one of three kittens who were all very healthy and active. She was the most shy of her siblings but quickly came out of her shell to show that she is one of the sweetest kitties this foster family has ever had. She is curious and playful but is careful to observe before she jumps into any situation. She has also been the most patient of her siblings as she often let her siblings have the food bowls first and waited for her opportunity. Like most kitties, she is ultra affectionate and will tell you she loves you by turning on her purr machine once she realizes she has your attention. Like her siblings, she loves spending time on her humans lap and will not hesitate to climb on when an opportunity presents itself. Unlike most cats, her fur is extra soft and fluffy making her that much more desirable in the cuddles department! She has been exposed to other cats in the foster home and understands her boundaries when necessary. She has also done very well with children. This is one of those kitties who will win you over instantly because her sweetness oozes until your heart overflows as she showers you with unconditional love. She will be a great addition to any forever family! She must be adopted to a home with another cat or kitten, or as a pair with one of his/her siblings.

Story
need help rehoming quite a few cats, recently relocated to Bakersfield and brought our cats from 2 previous litters of a couple cats we used to feed who abandoned their litter and we took in to foster . We tried taking them to the shelter but we were turned away because theyoverpopulated. Moving here we noticed so many cats, we started leaving food out for them and some cats started finding their way in our house and we committed to foster but then others started looking pregnant and recently birthed. Itbeen raining so we werencomfortable leaving them outside and we took them in aswell. Theyre extremely comfortable inside the house and around people kids and dogs. However, it gotten out of hand as there are 10+ cats &now more kittens. I dont want to receive backlash, I thought I was helping them by taking them in and feeding but I simply cannot afford to feed them anymore much less, spay/neuter them and Im asking for help. Help to rehome/foster, or donations for food

Story
Dreamsicle is a sweet boy! We adopted him almost 10 years ago, he loves to cuddle and get tons of love! Sadly, he hasn’t adapted to our kids. He is usually hiding in the closet and only comes out at night when the kids go to bed. He deserves a home where he can roam free in the houses he enjoys watching squirrels from the window! He seems to be allergic to chicken and fish. He currently eats cat food made of duck

Story
This is Melon! He’s a 10 month old sweetheart, with lots of personality & play to him…. He’s very cuddly as you can probably tell by his photos. He is a lover of fetch, and drinking water from the sink spout :) We unfortunately are looking to rehome him, as I’ve become disabled with severe health issues— and the impact of that on our finances means that we aren’t able to take care of him the way we would like to. He is a little compulsive, sometimes plays a bit rough, and needs a lot of patience and clear communication. He gets understimulated easily, and needs a lot of play and attention in order to thrive… We suspect he many enjoy having a cat or dog sibling, though he has never been around another animal so we are not certain. He is a gentle lover who needs a little help understanding boundaries. If you would like to home our sweet Melon, please reach out with questions!

Story
Vivian was born to a feral mom and has one sister. Rosilee and one brother RoadRunner who were all trapped and we took them in together these three amigos steadfastlyt avoid human hands. UPDATE HAS TOTALLY CHANGED COURSE after her sister Rosalee had to have one of her Eyes removed and was recuperating in a kennel AND her brother was in a carrier to FINALLY get neutered after my roommate was able to lure him close with some kielbasa sausage and snatch him up! So any way Vivian didn't have any of her posey around to shame her into being an antisocial teenager who would be a sellout if she accepted or god forbid sought out our affection, and she jumped up on my bed and let me pet her all over, belly if you would be interested in adopting Vivian please take a moment to fill out our easy online adoption application at actonupkittenrecue.org and the call Karen who will be happy to answer any questions and schedule a meet and greet with the lovely Rosalee. 661-317-2253

Notorious C.A.T. its possible that we should have named him Socrates as he is clearly a deep thinker. Dont know if he will help you find the answers to lifes mysteries, but he will demonstrate up a calming and gentle disposition to help you to figure them out on your own. He is the adventurer of his litter whos easy peasy on his own but loves his brothers (Julius and Bodhi) and gives them lots of cuddles and massages happy-go-lucky, bold, brave, and oh so awesome hes just perfection.
