Story
We adopted Cosmo as a kitten in June of 2020. He is the most sweet and loving cat I have ever had. He is very cuddly and loves attention! We always joke that he has the personality of a dog. Every time someone comes over he is all up in their business and wants pets and sniffs. He would be best in a home without other pets as he can be a bully to other animals (as we have seen with his sister clover). He eats from a timed feeder because he is food obsessed and will eat too much and vomit if he is not portion controlled. He does have a problem with one of his knees but it does not seem to bother him and if his weight is managed. If he does get too heavy, jumping bothers him, you can tell because he hobbles. He is litter trained and never has accidents or goes in places he should not. He is SUCH a good boy, we love him and if it were not for our 2 year old daughter having a severe allergy to him we would of course be keeping him. He deserves an amazing home.

Story
Clover is a very timid, shy, beautiful but sweet cat! She took a while to warm up to us after we adopted her as a kitten in 2020, but she is so amazing and sweet now, we joke it is like having two different cats! Once she is used to you she will come up and cuddle next to you, ask for pets and meow when she wants/needs food. She is very skittish around other animals and small children but she would not hurt a child - and she would hiss at other animals. I think she would be best suited for a one animal home where a person has a lot of structure and routine. She is very routine oriented about when she gets her food and uses her litter. She likes her litter cleaned often too. She loves to play and is a great fly catcher! Though she is timid she really is an amazing cat. We would keep her but our 2 year old has a severe allergy so sadly we cannot.

Story
August (Auggie) is a 12 year old sweet boy. I adopted him from a woman when he was 3 years old, because her new husband was allergic to cats. He has been with me through EVERYTHING including various moves, breakups, grad school, getting married, and having my daughter. I love him so much, that I feel like rehoming would be the best thing for him. When my husband and I moved in together, we each had our own cats. Unfortunately, August has not been able to adjust to having a cat brother. For the last 2 years, my normally sweet, outgoing, playful, cuddly, social boy, has become sad, reclusive, and picking fights with the other cat. We have done everything we can to help him adjust, but he refuses. He is great around humans, even my 1 year old daughter, but feels threatened and can not stand to live with another cat. I am looking to rehome him because I just want him to be happy. Hoping to find someone who wants to give lots of love to this sweet boy.

Story
Sugar is a beautiful, silky soft loving cat. We got her 2 months ago from the Humane Society. Her crate at the Humane Society had a note that said “not good with other cats …past trauma.” The box next to “Good with dogs” was checked as “unknown.” We have 2 very sweet and social dogs at home - a chocolate lab 8 years old, and a 12 year old dachshund. We thought they’d be great, the dogs are older and mellow. Sugar loves her new home…. She loves being pet, & picked up & purs loudly . She likes to going in the backyard, and after about 15 minutes, I call “Kitty!” and she comes running in. She likes to be around the family & people! However, her past trauma with cats must also extend into doggy territory. She hisses and scratches then runs away from our dogs. The chocolate lab got a scratch on her cornea and needed special drops and gel put on the eyeball twice a day & cone protector on neck for 2 weeks. Our dachshund, got a bad scratch on the nose. Now, cat is afraid, & dogs afraid.😢

Story
14 year old, all black, male cat. Needs Thyroid medicine every day. We adopted Bullit from the humane society about eight years ago and he has been a good cat, but also difficult at times. He tolerates my female cat although they have fought occasionally, and he really, really does not like the dogs that we have added to the family. My male dog and Bullit have gotten into some very serious fights that led to near vet visits and a recommendation to separate them for a time. Because of the Thyroid medication and the fighting, I have kept Bullit quarantined for a while in one of my spare bedrooms, but it really doesn't seem fair to keep him there. I would love to find him a home where he can be an only pet for the next 4 to 6 years that he has left. He also has dandruff but doesn't consistently eat fish oil or skin care treats. I am starting a conditioner to see if that helps. He is up to date on shots and had a dental cleaning within the last year. I can provide veterinary docs.

Story
Looking for a wonderful home for a sweet kitty. Taco is a five year old neutered cat who is up to date on all of his shots. Unfortunately we are unable to keep him for a couple reasons, including that he cannot get along with other cats. He tolerates dogs without issues and is very sweet and playful with kids. Taco is playful and sweet and loves being pet but is a typical cat in that he also likes hiding.

Story
Luna is a sweet lap kitty, that's gotten stressed out between a new home, cat siblings, and a new human baby. Luna is 4 years old and is a cuddly and crazy kitty. Luna is a cuddle bug with her person and can be an absolute lover to anyone that'll give her food. She absolutely loves any food, leave a plate out and she'll lick it, leave a bagel in the toaster and she'll steal it. She loves to play with things like hair ties, twist ties, dried noodles, silicone anything (mostly rings), and sometimes toys. She loves catnip and unfortunately also loves scratching furniture, but will use a rope scratching post occasionally (she will not use a sisal cat scratcher for some reason). CANNOT GO TO A HOME WITH CHILDREN OF ANY AGE. CANNOT GO TO A HOME WITH OTHER PETS. ignoring these will result in a stressed cat that will attack. Reason for rehoming is because she is stressed in our home and attacked. She will attack her main person when she gets too stressed

Story
She is one of 7 kittens from a stray cat colony. She was rescued at around 6 weeks old with a few of her siblings and has been working on her confidence and trust in humans since then. She is timid around strangers but once she opens up she is sweet and playful and loves pets. She loves to play with her siblings and her foster siblings and she is very talkative when she goes exploring. She would do well in a house with other cats and a human who has the patience to let her open up as she feels safe.
