Tessa belonged to my mother who recently passed away. Tessa is a typical cat of having her aloof moments, but then there are moments that she would come up and nudge you and want to be petted, she'll want to sit next to you or behind your neck / head on the couch. She'll curl up in a soft spot found in the house, a cozy chair, pillow, bed even the dog bed. When she cries out it some times sounds like " I love you". She has a different cat cry not your typical meow. Once she warms up to you, she is a very loving Kitty who needs a new home. We're moving back California after caring for my dying mother.

Wasabi is an awesome cat who is a bit shy. She loves to sit up high and watch everybody! We need to rehome her because we are moving a long distance and also 1 of our other cats bullies her. She would love a quiet home where she can be queen of her castle! She is very loving a sweet when she gets used to you and loves to snuggle on a blanket on your lap. She is declawed in the front and uses her litter box perfectly. She is approximately 7 years old. We adore her and want her to go to a loving home.

Molly was originally one of my grandparent's pets and me and my father took her and another cat in since they were unable to care for them anymore. I have moved off to college, and now that my father is disabled he struggles to take care of not only our three cats but also my grandparent's cats. Since Molly is currently the only female, she feels defensive and just has to constantly be on edge about the males attacking her. Molly is 7 years old, and is very sweet. She will curl up in your arms after a long day and will purr like no other. I'm ideally looking for her to be a adopted into a home where she will be a solo cat. We call her only by her name, and she scratch or bite if you she doesn't know you and you get all up in her business. Once she gets to know you and she feels comfortable then she is the sweetest cat you will know. She is also a completely indoor cat.

Max was one of my grandfather's pets, and we took him in when they were unable to care for him along with their other cat. Max is 7 years old, and gets along well with my three cats and his sister. My father has become disabled and I've moved to college so it's hard for him to take care of all five cats. I'm ideally looking for a home with kids and/or other pets as Max is very needy for human attention and the majority of the time he wants to be by someone. If you are sitting down he will use his front paws to grab your hand and put it on top of his head to get you to pet him. He is a very sweet cat, but unfortunately my father just doesn't have the time or ability to care for him along with our three cats. Max also responds to Maxwell, but not anything else. He is also a completely indoor cat.

Abby is an energetic and fun-loving cat! At three years old, she's just as adorable as she was as a kitten, and she still has plenty of curiosity and an uncanny ability to get into mischief. She's always looking for the next thing to do. So we feel Abby needs an experienced adopter who can keep her safe and healthy! We also feel she would do best in an adult-only household. Abby is very affectionate. She loves kisses, hugs, and sitting/snoozing on her foster mom's lap. Abby was rescued with her sister, Ariel, and both are currently being fostered in a home with two other cats. Abby tends to have a "take charge" personality, but she gets along with everyone. She would do very well as a companion for a cat (or cats) already in the adopter's home. The HPC adoption process involves a foster period (to ensure a good "fit") before the adoption is finalized. Since HPC visits the home during that time, potential adopters need to be in the Bradenton/Sarasota (Florida) area.

Coco Chanel is spayed, negative for FIV/FeLV, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and dewormed. She is a sweet and friendly girl who would love a furever home of her own. Coco Chanel came to our rescue with six tiny babies in December 2020. Five babies were adopted as soon as they were fixed/adoptable. One baby was disabled and unadoptable. For the last 3 1/2 years, Coco Chanel has given up her chance at a furever home by herself so she could care for her disabled baby. Sadly, her daughter passed away July 13th, leaving Coco Chanel alone in their foster room. Now, it is time for her to shine! Coco Chanel is very sweet most of the time, but does give love nips when excited. (Has never broken skin.) A home without children would be best for this reason. She has not been integrated with other cats or dogs because she was a very protective mother. She is currently working on integrating with others, but we would still recommend a home without other animals at this time.
