American Shorthair kittens & cats in Scottsville, Kentucky

Gingersnap came to us one night at the kitchen door. We let her in the house and gave her food and water. She immediately was excitedly happy, begging for more and more attention but was startled by our other cat occupants. We assume she is less than a year old because of her size and innocence toward all people. Ginger is very affectionate, trusting and a social butterfly. We want her to be her sweet and affectionate self as a new addition to a loving home. We suspect that she will need to be slowly introduced to other cats and over time will become more comfortable with other cat roommates.

Mouse is a female domestic shorthair that wandered up to our house and decided to stay. She is a polite little lady who has lots of noises to make and cuddles to give, and although she is not a lap cat, she enjoys being in your company nearby. Mouse came inside after recovering from a bite she received outside and has transitioned perfectly indoors and to living with other cats. She's never given others any trouble. Her ear is docked not from injury, but from being trapped, neutered, and released (TNR) prior to showing up at our house. Her bite wound has healed with no problems and has received a clean bill of health from our vet. Mouse is looking for a strictly indoor life, with a quiet and loving family that is willing to share occasional photo updates with her foster family.
