Story
Meet this adorable girl, Jazz - a true New Orleans native! She is ready for her furever home. She is a lovely tuxedo tabby, with a bright white bib and paws, soft silky medium length fur and a long-haired plume tail. Having spent the first three months of her life outside with her four siblings and feral mom, she is now learning how to be a pampered house cat! Jazz is a bit shy, but calm and sweet. She enjoys chasing balls and fishing rod type toys and sitting in the window watching the world go by. She is comfortable with other young cats and probably older cats as well. Jazz enjoys being petted and having her head scratched while purring. With some patience and TLC she will come out of her shell fully and be a very sweet, loving kitty.

Story
Niko is such a sweet boy! He doesn't like to be held, but he does like showing affection by sitting next to or near you. I believe he can be very social with other cats (he gets along well with his adopted sister, Toki), but it takes sometime for him to get used that he doesn't know humans. Niko was adopted 3 years ago this coming June, so he's still a baby/young with lots of energy. He loves to play fetch with his toy mouse and he loves his treats! Niko is a very healthy cat, but he has airborne allergies. Niko is strictly an indoor cat and he also gets very anxious during car rides.

Story
Willie came to us as a kitten in the summer of 2024. She was just one of the many homeless strays living on the streets in the 9th ward. Even though she was initially a stray, Willie is actually a princess who wants to spend her days indoors! She’s very friendly and does well in our home—more tolerant of the vacuum, blender, ect than our resident indoor cats. She’s very sweet, gets along with our resident cats, and our dog. She’s a little goofy and still has playful kitten energy. We have showered her with kindness throughout all the time we’ve had with her, and she will be a great companion! Her adoption fees are simply to help cover the cost of her spay, shots, and microchip. I am just one person doing what I can to help my neighborhood strays.

Story
Urgent rehoming! This is Layla. She is very sweet. She loves to cuddle 💘. Also loves every single human she's ever met! She was originally adopted from petsmart so she has all her vaccinations! She would prefer to be in a 1 cat household. I am currently fostering her and I had no idea she wouldn't react well to my other cats. She is afraid of my other 7 rescue cats. This caused fights, so I have her separated now. She deserves to be in a loving forever home but our local shelter is completely full, so I wanted to get the word out on here. There will be a small rehoming fee just to be safe. Thanks!

Story
I adopted Pumpkin Spice from the Humane Society for Greater Savannah in 2021 when he was about 2 years old. He has been with me as I have moved from Savannah back to New Orleans. Pumpkin Spice is very affectionate. He is the first to greet visitors at the door and enjoys cuddling in laps. He really loves stuffed toys that he can bunny kick. Unfortunately, he also has some behavioral challenges that make it difficult for him to stay in my home. He experiences anxiety, which sometimes manifests as biting and scratching. He also occasionally urinates outside the litter box. Furthermore, he has become more territorial regarding the other male cat in my home. I think Pumpkin Spice would benefit from a space where he is the only cat. He would do really well with any outdoor time. An experienced cat owner who knows how to handle behavior issues and can be patient with him would be ideal. Pumpkin Spice loves attention and would be a great cat for someone who wants a cuddle buddy.

Story
Callie is roughly 1.5 years old. I found her roughly 6 months ago and she was pregnant. I decided to keep her on my property to ensure she was fed and safe. She had the kittens and they were rehomed. I now need a home for Callie. She is everything a person could want. She is very chill and adapts to any situation. She lets you hold her, grab her and handle her however you want. She meows rarely. She loves being inside but can go outside and will return home whenever she wants to. SHE LOVES FOOD. She could endlessly eat. She doesn't play with toys much but may if you work with her on it. She doesn't scratch at furniture or anything.

Story
Salami is a very silly 4 year old cat, my old roommate's neighbor's outdoor cat gave birth to a litter that they couldn't keep so I took him in. I want more than anything to keep him but after having to move out from an abusive relationship, I can't keep him where I live now. He is such a loving boy once he warms up to you - he has lived with some scary people before and moving is stressful for him, so he needs some time to adjust to any new place, but if you give him a chance you will see he is so smart and loving, just a big baby that wants all your affection (and your food). I am looking for someone that is willing to be patient with him and give him so much love. He gets overstimulated a bit easily but if you know how to understand cat body language he will clearly tell you when he has had enough playtime. I hope someone is able to give him the stability and safety he deserves.

Story
Looking for a Loving Home for My Sweet Cat (fixed) It breaks my heart to write this, but I’m looking for a new forever home for my cherished cat due to a change in my living situation that’s no longer suitable for him. He has been an incredible companion and is absolutely adored by his mom — this decision comes with so much love and care for his well-being. He’s a playful, affectionate boy who finds joy in the little things — like batting around toys, chasing laser pointers, and curling up in an empty cardboard box (his absolute favorite!). He lives for cat treats and will quickly show off his playful side when he knows a reward is coming. Though he may be a little shy at first, once he warms up to you, he’s the ultimate cuddle buddy. He loves to sleep between my legs at night and always wants to be close. He’s incredibly gentle and gets along beautifully with dogs, other cats, and children. He’s house trained and very clean, but also enjoys time outside in a safe, fenced-in area.
