Shane is a sweet playful boy who was adopted from the Frederick, MD animal shelter. While he can be a little aggressive when he decides he’s done playing, he is generally a cat who wants ALL the cuddles. The only real issue is that he and our senior cat are clashing big time. I think he would do well in a home with a younger cat or would do well as an only cat.

Named after Harry Potter character and my name is a play on words because I’m seriously black except a small white patch. I’m short hair, neutered, and litter trained. I don’t go outside unless it’s on a screened porch. I was born 9 or 10 years ago and never knew my mom or siblings. A lady found me during the fall hiding under a shed. My mom and siblings were dead in the road. After that I went to live where I am now as pet of 2 teens. They eventually moved out and left me with someone else. I’ve been taken care of pretty well but now that person is moving and my sister Tonks and I can’t go. I like being brushed and my favorite thing to do is follow my human to the potty and rub back and forth on her legs. I’m well behaved and don’t scratch or bite when having my nails done or getting in the bath. I’ve never met any dogs, kids, or other cats except Tonks, who’s also for adoption. I recently had 14 teeth pulled but I’m fully recovered and eat normally.

Hi! This is Sailor and he's about 8 months. He is one of the last of 4 litter mates to go home. He is such a sweetheart. Once he loves you he will follow you around like a puppy. Every night he sits at my door asking to come in. He needs someone very loving and attentive. He will literally sleep face to face with you so be prepared! Who says you don’t get second chances in life? That’s certainly not true for this sweet older lady. We don’t know much about her back story, but what we do know is that somehow she found herself alone on the streets of Baltimore. She was taken to Baltimore Animal Control, where everyone there immediately fell in love with her. As stressful as it must have been to lose her home, be kicked out on the street and then wind up at a busy shelter, her wonderful disposition just shined right through. She absolutely adores people and was a well loved pet at one point. She can’t get enough of being petted and receiving belly rubs. She is an easy going ol’ gal and gets along fine with other cats and animals. She’s extremely adaptable. She has perfect litter box skills and manners. She’s not one to climb up curtains or scratch on furniture. Her favorite thing in the world is just to snooze next to her person. She does have a playful side, but in general she’s a very calm girl. Just an all around sweetheart. She will make a new family very happy. Like all Furever Home cats, Uni is FeLV positive.
