Story
Meet Sir Snugglesworth, a kitten with a royal title and a heart full of love. This little fellow is sweet as sugar, always ready to share his warmth with anyone who crosses his path. His affectionate personality is what got him his name! His playful nature is contagious, making every moment an adventure. He's not just about play though; he loves to cuddle up and share a cozy moment. His curiosity is endearing, always exploring and learning about his surroundings. Affectionate and social, he's the perfect companion. Sir Snuggs loves playing with his foster sister and brother. He would need a home with another playful and friendly cat friend. He spends a lot of time with his foster sister Wylie, he would love to be adopted with her! Being a polydactyl, he has extra toes to hold onto his toys! Sir Snugglesworth is waiting for a home where he can share his love, playfulness, and curiosity. Adopt him and experience the joy of his companionship. Sir Snugglesworth is currently in a foster home. If you are interested in meeting him, please send a message here, or email adopt@ahsem.org. Adoption fees are as follows: $155 for a single cat or kitten, $195 for a pair of cats or kittens. When adopting a cat from AHSEM the adoption includes spay or neuter surgery, age appropriate core vaccines, microchipping, combo tested (for FIV/FeLV), and basic wellness care including deworming and flea treatment.

Story
Hi, I'm Mini! I am almost 2 years old and I'm almost entirely black with some cute white patches on my tummy. I love playing, following my human around the house, and lounging by sunny windows. People think I'm dorky for playing with my tail or leaving my tongue blooped out, but I think it's part of what makes me adorable! My humans wish they could keep me, but they are moving and I can't go with them. I am chipped and vaccinated and have a lot of cat accessories available if requested.

Story
Henry is a charming older gentleman of 11 years. He is very affectionate in his own way: he loves to lay with and be around his current owner, even sleeping on his owner's chest every night. He is a highly food motivated cat and very active for his age; he loves to chase and play tag with his owner just as much as he loves to lounge around and nap in a cozy bed. Unfortunately, he has decided that he no longer enjoys living with other cats, and his owner has come to the difficult decision to rehome him for his and his siblings sake. Henry needs to be a solo cat to an owner(s) who can give him all their love, attention, and treats.

Story
See Peanut`s Transformation! From the Streets of Detroit to Lap Cat Just one day before February’s 2025 bitter cold set in, Peanut’s life changed forever. Peanut was rescued when a caretaker contacted a PAAW volunteer about a cat that started coming around that had a wound on the neck and was gurgling when breathing. The plan was to trap him and get him to a vet but Peanut didn`t show up the next morning, so a PAAW volunteer searched the neighborhood and managed to trap him just in time.We had to hold Peanut until we could get a vet appointment, but in just weeks of him being trapped, treated and neutered at the vet, Peanut who was dirty and a beat up tom cat who came in down and out, with an old abscess wound on his neck has had an INCREDIBLE transformation with his foster! Turns out with just a little bit of time, Peanut is a sweet and affectionate guy! Peanut likes being brushed and petted, soaking up every bit of love he missed for so long. He is already using a scratching post. Peanut`s foster and the volunteer that trapped him have given him a second chance at life, and now he’s ready for a forever home where he’ll never have to fight for survival again! The vet said Peanut tested FIV+, probably from all his year of being on the streets. We don’t know what Peanut has been through living outside, but we do know he deserves a great home with all the food he can eat! We are hoping he may be just the guy to add to your family! ***********FIV+ cats need love too! FIV is species specific, meaning only cats can be infected. FIV+ cats can live just as long as non-FIV cats. If introduced properly, FIV and Non-FIV cats can live happy and healthy lives together. The virus is very frail and can only live outside the body for a few seconds, and requires serious physical interaction, like deep bite wounds. Normal social interactions, such as grooming, sharing food and water bowls and litter boxes have no known risk of transmission. Peanut~born~4/2/18_____A special adoption fee is offered for FIV+ cats and can give you and the cat years of love and companionship. Please use these links for our:Online Adoption Application: paawarren.org/adopt/adoption-application-formWebsite for details, info: paawarren.orgFIV+ info: paawarren.org/pet-resources/fiv-positive-cats***PAAW’s Cat Café is now open in Farmington Hills!
