American Shorthair kittens & cats in Hopkins, Minnesota

Hazel is a 7 year old, female American Shorthair cat. She is very sweet and is a big cuddle bug, but may need some time to adjust and get familiar with her surroundings. Because she does have a pretty shy demeanor, she'll need to go to a home with minimal activity so she can adjust well. Hazel needs to go to a home with no other cats. We're unsure how she does with dogs and children.

Flynn came to us from someone who was moving away. Flynn was found by his first owner as a kitten in a park and grew up with children. Flynn is mellow but likes to play as well. He likes to cuddle with people. He enjoys being brushed and likes to follow his favorite person around. Flynn can come with any of the following items that are wanted: cat condo, three litter bins and rug, food and water bowls, cat toys and brushes, scratching post, cat carrier and food. (Fudge Sundae seems like a more suitable name for him because of his chocolate and caramel tuxedo and his vanilla waistcoat.) 😺

Bud is a sweet, affectionate cat who’s been my best friend. From the moment he wakes up, he meows his greetings, follows you around, and curls up close, purring contentedly at each pet. I’d hoped we’d stay together forever, but my child’s severe allergies and asthma make it impossible to give Bud the time and care he deserves. He used to live alongside his feline brother—who moved out with my sister—and still misses that companionship. Bud would be happiest in a home with another friendly cat or someone around often for play and cuddles. He also lived with a large dog in the past; he was initially cautious, but never aggressive—just needed a little time to adjust. It truly breaks my heart to rehome this loving, talkative companion, but he deserves more than I can provide right now. Ella was adopted as a kitten when she was 8 weeks old from a Humane Society. She loves to play and is energetic and sassy. She will come and curl up on your lap when she is ready and does like to be petted especially under her chin. She is affectionate with me and lived peacefully with me and my other cat until recently. She seems to have developed anxiety toward the other cat in the household and my other cat is afraid of her. I need to find her a new home for the sake of the other cat. She does seem to have some general anxiety around unfamiliar situations and people so may take some time to settle into a new home but I think she would be a good cat once she feels comfortable. It may be advisable for her to be in a home as an only pet and probably one that is somewhat quiet. She has not been around dogs or children. I have taken very good care of her and feel sick about rehoming her but need to for the sake of my other cat.

I’m currently in the military and with my busy schedule I’m unable to always be with my sweet little boy, I am looking to rehome him to a lovely forever home. Sirius is 1 year old and was born in New Orleans but is relocated with my father in Minneapolis. He is a friendly, energetic cat and once he has formed a bond with you he showcase his clingy side. It breaks my heart having to rehome but I know that will be better.

Dynamo is a calm, cuddly, and vocal classic orange tabby. He is a healthy 14 year old who has been around kids a plenty. He likes some dogs, but not others (especially energetic puppies). He’s a sleepy guy who doesn’t have much interest in playing more than a few minutes, but loves to cuddle and have his ears scratched on demand. He’s always been indoors, but loves to sit on the balcony and smell the fresh air. After many years together, we are moving out of state and need to part with Dynamo. We would love to see him land in a loving home.
