Story
Special Home Needed for a Very Special Cat! Meet Squirrel, a unique and beautiful 7-month-old girl who’s looking for a patient, loving home. Trapped at just 8 weeks old from a large colony, Squirrel has come a long way but still needs a very special environment to truly thrive. She has been spayed and is now ready for a forever home. Squirrel is not your typical house cat—she’s friendly but only with one or two people, and even then, it takes time and patience to earn her trust. Squirrel might be the perfect fit if you’re looking for a “shadow” cat, one who may not be seen often but still needs a safe, loving home. She’s low-maintenance in the sense that she doesn’t demand constant attention, but she does need someone willing to provide her with the basics—food, water, safety, and understanding. While we considered her for a barn or shop cat role, she has been in captivity for a while, and we’re unsure how she’d adapt to the outdoors now. She’s better suited for a quiet, indoor space where she can feel safe. If you have a heart for giving a special cat a second chance and don’t mind a shy companion, Squirrel is waiting for you. Please reach out with any questions—this sweet girl is in desperate need of a home where she can feel secure and loved.

Story
Meet our dynamic duo of rescued kittens, a testament to the remarkable resilience and spirit of feline companions. These two adorable siblings are hard to tell apart and resemble their mother. They have embarked on a journey of transformation as they overcome their initial skittishness to reveal their playful and curious personalities. Their early experiences have instilled a natural wariness, but with gentle patience and love, they have blossomed into delightful bundles of joy. Their newfound confidence has even sparked an insatiable curiosity, particularly in the presence of dogs, as they eagerly explore and observe their canine counterparts. Hedwig is the quieter of the two, very curious and takes time to warm up, but watching her play with and sleep with her brother is a wonderful sight. Draco, on the other hand, is VERY vocal when he wants attention, making his presence known with sweet meows. Both kittens love aggressive pets once they finally trust you. Draco has a tendency to sleep at your feet or even on top of them. They love to explore and adventure around the house, often observing from afar before making their moves. Despite their initial shyness, these kittens have emerged as affectionate and cuddly companions, proving that with the right nurturing and care, they are capable of forming genuine connections. Their journey from fear to comfort is a testament to their resilience and adaptability, showcasing their potential to become cherished members of a loving and patient household. If you're ready to open your heart and home, you'll be rewarded with the joy of witnessing their continued transformation and the boundless affection they have to offer. With their playful spirits and newfound love for cuddling, these kittens are destined to bring light and warmth into the lives of their new adoptive family.
