Story
This little girl is Renae! She is very social and energetic, and very food motivated (lol). I found her in July of 2022 in Lower Falls Park, malnourished and pregnant. I got her spayed after I found her and she is up to date on her shots. A few months ago, she attacked my neighbor unprovoked when my neighbor came by to feed her dinner which was a regular occurrence. Ever since, my other cat has been very stressed out. I have taken them both to the vet multiple times to fix this issue with nothing helping. I want to rehome Renae because I do not feel like this is a good fit anymore for her.

Story
Mau Mau, a big bunchy handsome boy, would add warmth and joy to your home and lap. A neighbor said this cat, also called Ronnie, is always talking, "mau mau mau." Quite the character, he complains when ignored, picked up too often, or put into an unfamiliar situation. He will chatter and keep you company as you garden, cook or rest. Neighbors got Mau from a shelter, but then got 3 dogs. He was unnerved, misbehaved, then kicked out. Mau managed in the summer on the street, happy in the sunshine, greeting passersby, but ill equipped to deal with hunger, loneliness and foul weather. Relieved to be out of the wet or cold, Mau sits on the couch with me as I read, offering his belly-up encouragements to continue petting. He now shares our sessions on the couch with another cat, but often expresses his wish for one-on-one attention. He readily complains if other cats invade his space. Mau Mau needs a sunny window or warm front porch, and a loving owner with a steady lap to call home.

Story
We found Dahlia two years ago as a stray and took her in. We have two other male cats that bully her and we have done our best to reintroduce them, but they are Not Getting Along. We recently went out of town and had my dad watch her where she was in a home with no other animals. While she was “vacationing” she became a lot more adventurous, vocal, curious, and playful. Since she’s been home, she’s regressed and is now terrified to leave her area, is no longer playing, and is overall withdrawn and afraid. We have made the incredibly difficult decision to rehome her for her benefit. We believe she would do best in a home with no other cats, or at most in a home with young cats or kittens. She is extremely affectionate and loves to play with wand toys and hair ties. In a more suitable environment, we hope she will flourish and finally know peace off the streets, and away from her current bullies.
