Story
He was found in our yard. He attacks our female cat, and is not fixed. Had to take dog to vet, can not afford to fix him. He tries to sleep in my lap, when I move he tries to nip me. He is not fixed, he needs that. Needs to be re homed. Seems ok inside front room, and wants a home, too many dogs and female outside cat. He should only be a single cat after fixed maybe. He attacks my cat outside. Wants to be inside, I hate to take him somewhere to drop him off outside, shelters will not take him. He has to go for the sake of my cat. He needs to be fixed to calm him down.

Story
Due to unforeseen circumstances we find ourselves having to Rehome our sweet kitty, she has been with us since she was a kitten. Luna may take some time warming up to a new environment and people but once she does she loves to sit on your lap and just sleep. Especially if there are blankets involved, she loves to chase lasers and go after anything crinkly. She likes to find a “spot” and just stays there most of the time if cuddles aren’t an option. She’s fine with our 80 dog, and we used to have another cat that passed away a few years ago who she tolerated.. she’s not a huge fan of other cats but after an adjustment period has been fine with anything. We have an infant who had pulled her tail a few times and she will meow but hasn’t done anything past that so I believe she may do better in a home with no small children. She is 7 years old and is mostly black, she has a white spot on her chest and belly, she is on the smaller side maybe 7-10 lbs.

Story
Sophie is a senior female spayed cat. She weighs approximately 6 lbs. I rescued her and her brother 16 years ago. He has since passed. Sophie is very timid and shy. She is not a lap cat. She does love for you to pet her and she will puuuuurrrr for you (on her terms of course). She would do well in a home that is more quiet and less active. She has not been around another cat since her brother passed 5 years ago. Given time and the right environment, I’m sure she would warm up to another cat. She is not aggressive at all she just prefers a more quiet environment. Puppies and children are too active for her. The reason I’m looking to rehome Sophie is because my husband and I are now retired. We sold our home and we are moving to a senior living community where they dont allow pets. Sophie loves her Fancy Feast cat food and she still uses the litter box and drinks only water. She is not on any medication. Must be a non smoking home.

Story
My son and I got Butters from a animal shelter up in Pennsylvania as a kitten in June 2021. I have since moved down to Holly Springs NC. I just recently got married and my wives dog does not get along with Butters at all. Butters is a very loving cat and loves to lay around, play with toys and strings. He is up to date on all shots. He gets along with all dogs and cats. While growing up he has issues with his back hips. He doesn't have very much strength in his back legs. Instead of walking normal he kind of waddles when he walks. He gets around find. Can get in and out of the litter box fine. He just can't jump or climb on furniture. I took him to a couple of different vets up in PA as well as down here in NC and they have run multiple tests on him. They all could not find anything wrong with him. I would love to find a loving family for him to go to.

Story
Hello. I am a lifelong cat person, who has 3 wonderful cats of my own. During 2024, I had been aware of 2 roaming but very friendly outdoor cats in my neighborhood. No one has claimed them. In my nature to care for animals, I have been feeding them and making sure they had warm and safe accommodations outside of my home on my porch. I have tried to determine if anyone in a nearby development owns them. My neighbor continues to have issues with this, as complaints to our HOA have been called in about the 2 cats accessing his yard. I have tried to come up with a compromise for this situation. Note: There is no compromising with my neighbor. It was suggested that after I had the cats updated with shots, checked for any illness at the veterinarian, and spay/neutered, that I "drop them off in another neighborhood". Unacceptable, even though they are not my own. The Wake County Animal Shelter would be my last resort. They are not taking in animals at this time.
