American Shorthair kittens & cats in Wilmington, North Carolina

Hi everyone! My name is Austin, and I am looking to re home my cat Fiona. She was previously my older sisters cat and I took her in about 3 years ago. My work schedule has become much busier recently and I am also traveling more often. I cannot always find a sitter for her nor can I afford to board every time ( she also does not get along with other animals or children so that makes it more difficult). She’s a wonderful cat, very sweet and loving. It takes time for her to warm up but after she will be playing and begging you for Fancy Feast. She can be quite vocal at times when she wants something. I will take her to the vet before re homing to make sure shots/vaccs are all updated, etc. I’m sure she would appreciate and be more comfortable with someone who has a bigger living space and access to a backyard/ patio that is safe and that she can play in from time to time. She is an indoor cat, not meant for outside full time, but likes to sunbathe and play in the grass.

Bynx is an incredibly sweet lady. She is very shy and loves a good hiding spot but she also loves to be pet and will even respond to her name. She is playful when she feels safe and would do best in a house with no dogs and possibly no children as she can be skittish. Bynx needs an owner with the time and patience to give her the love she deserves.

Jax is a little over one years old. She's very playful, and loving. She's an amazing cat, that loves to cuddle and I am deeply sad to give her up.

Hello! Kitten was rescued from the roadside. Bottle fed and weaned to kitten food. Excellent temperament. Box trained. Sweet boy. About 3lbs. Has been to the vet and is healthy. Looking for his forever home.

12/15/23- Cora has meet her year mark at the shelter 12/1/23 we have no idea why she is a beautiful 1 year old tabby/tortie girl, who loves to cuddle. 2/6/2023 Meet Piper! Piper is a 1 1/2 years old short-haired female kitten, She is a very observant kitty. She likes watching you and then when she is comfortable she will come over to greet you. Honey Bear was born inside to a rescued,stray mama cat.He was the smallest runt,nursed by his mama for 8 weeks.Healthy and well adjusted.Sweet, loving and cuddly.Not skittish.He has a sweet sister that would like to go with him.They play so well together.He is almost big enough to be neutered and have first shots,microchip.Will have all done prior to adoption.

FLASH was found outside all alone at 6 weeks old.He is very sweet, wants to be held and loved.Needs a family that will make him their littlest son! He is very playful and gentle.Favorite things to do are eat and play! He has foster siblings that can be adopted with him as playmates!Being neutered next week.He is almost big enough.Will have shots and microchip done then.

Sweet Chelsea was bought from a breeder in England as a kitten. We have her TICA registration details. She was brought to NC by the owner and surrendered to Feline Matchmakers, along with her mom, Tiffany, who is also TICA registered. Chelsea was overbreed, as often is the case with greedy breeders, but she is overall healthy. She is a bit of a Diva and does not like other cats much, so if you're looking for a buddy for your cat, Chelsea is not a good choice. She will tolerate another cat as long as that cat doesn't get in her space. She's not really a cuddly cat, so we don't recommend dissappointing young children with her.
