Story
Hi everyone! At 5 months old and 6 lbs, I am truly a real life teddy bear. I’m a VERY sweet, relaxed, and easygoing kitty who loves to hear myself talk!  While napping with my humans is my favorite hobby, I love to wrestle with my sibling (Kitten Oreo) when the time is right. Give me a soft lap and yummy food, and I’ll be the purrfect kitten for you! I am a lover boy who is so excited to meet my best friends furever! If you are interested in adopting me, please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com.January 10, 2025, 11:34 am

Story
Darlin is a very special boy who needs a special person. He has spent all of his 8 years indoors being adored by his previous owner who said he was very friendly and affectionate. Sadly, she had to move and couldn't take him with her. His whole life has been disrupted and he wasn't suited for shelter life, so two wonderful fosters have been showing him that he has better days ahead. He needed a quiet home where he could have lots of love, the time to adjust, and the opportunity to trust a new person. His current foster has shown him love on his terms. Once he realized he was safe, she found that he wanted to be where the people are. He still hides and is skittish, but can be brought out for petting and he loves couch time. He is on a special diet but he is absolutely worth it. If you would like to make a big difference in a sweet cat's life, please fill out an application at www.adoptwcac.org and call to arrange to meet him.

Story
Meet Audry! Audry is a little crazy princess. She is very affectionate and loves to play. She's particularly fond of toes under blankets and curling up for evening snuggles in bed. She can be fairly independent but also has a strong personality, often being talkative, especially when she wants food or attention. Audry is named after Audry Hepburn to honor her exceptionally large eyes! She is also very small and seems to be done growing. This combination gives her a permanent kitten-like appearance, making her one of our cutest cats to date. Audry does well with other cats. However, she absolutely loves alone time. In fact, she often begs to be let into our office (where cats are usually not allowed) so she can have some Audry time. Once inside the office, she just likes to vibe and attack words as they are printed on the screen. She also LOVES to watch videos and frequently watches movies with us. She seems to particularly like action movies like James Bond. Audry is also terrified of doorbells, although I don't know why. She has met some dogs, she was not a fan. So I wouldn't recommend her to be placed in a home with any dogs. She is also good with other cats, often playing with our other cats here at the rescue. However, I think she would do very well as an only cat if that is what you're looking for. Audry can be very shy with strangers, so while she has met some kids she hasn't been around them enough to break out of her shyness. I'm sure she would be great, especially with grade-school children and older, since she loves to play and snuggle but isn't the biggest fan of chaos (she is a princess, after all). She is spayed, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. Indoor only. What our adoption fee covers: Our adoption fee covers the cost to spay/neuter each cat. Each rescue kitten costs a minimum of $225.00 to vaccinate and sterilize. Almost all of our cats and kittens require additional medical care due to parasites or other general health concerns prior to adoption since they have all been rescued from less-than-ideal conditions. Veterinary care can be expensive, and we want to ensure our adopters are aware of what the cost of ownership is, as well as what their adoption fees pay for.

Story
Hi There! Let me introduce you to our Fabulous Foursome! Winkin, Blinkin, Tabby, and Tux! These 4 brothers have been in a loving foster home since being rescued from under a backyard shed. Each has their very own lovely personality and every bit of kitten playfulness they should be! They were born on April 1st so are now about 3 months old. They’re ready for their forever homes and will continue to receive vetting support and neuter through East CAN even once in new places. Winkin (one of the twins! Gray and white and curious) is a very friendly curious babe who likes a nuzzle and is quick to purr. Tabby (he’s the Tabby… ha!) is an outgoing and playful little boy who loves to explore. Blinkin (gray and white like his twin brother but with the addition of a sweet gray beard) like Tabby is playful and outgoing - kind of the Ying to his twin brother Winkin’s Yang! Tux (in his regal black tuxedo) is a true snuggle bunny. He’s the last to the food bowl and the first to his nap. He likes to sneak away under the couch for some quiet time away from his brothers. They’re all absolutely precious and ready for their forever families! If you are interested in meeting any of these babies please email info@eastcan.org and someone will get back with you ASAP to set something up.
