Story
Mouse is a female domestic shorthair that wandered up to our house and decided to stay. She is a polite little lady who has lots of noises to make and cuddles to give, and although she is not a lap cat, she enjoys being in your company nearby. Mouse came inside after recovering from a bite she received outside and has transitioned perfectly indoors and to living with other cats. She's never given others any trouble. Her ear is docked not from injury, but from being trapped, neutered, and released (TNR) prior to showing up at our house. Her bite wound has healed with no problems and has received a clean bill of health from our vet. Mouse is looking for a strictly indoor life, with a quiet and loving family that is willing to share occasional photo updates with her foster family. Please submit an application for review by Ryan (foster parent) to see if you and Mouse could have a meet and greet and/or playdate at your house!

Story
Gingersnap came to us one night at the kitchen door. We let her in the house and gave her food and water. She immediately was excitedly happy, begging for more and more attention but was startled by our other cat occupants. We assume she is less than a year old because of her size and innocence toward all people. Ginger is very affectionate, trusting and a social butterfly. We want her to be her sweet and affectionate self as a new addition to a loving home. We suspect that she will need to be slowly introduced to other cats and over time will become more comfortable with other cat roommates.

Story
Hi There! Let me introduce you to our Fabulous Foursome! Winkin, Blinkin, Tabby, and Tux! These 4 brothers have been in a loving foster home since being rescued from under a backyard shed. Each has their very own lovely personality and every bit of kitten playfulness they should be! They were born on April 1st so are now about 3 months old. They’re ready for their forever homes and will continue to receive vetting support and neuter through East CAN even once in new places. Winkin (one of the twins! Gray and white and curious) is a very friendly curious babe who likes a nuzzle and is quick to purr. Tabby (he’s the Tabby… ha!) is an outgoing and playful little boy who loves to explore. Blinkin (gray and white like his twin brother but with the addition of a sweet gray beard) like Tabby is playful and outgoing - kind of the Ying to his twin brother Winkin’s Yang! Tux (in his regal black tuxedo) is a true snuggle bunny. He’s the last to the food bowl and the first to his nap. He likes to sneak away under the couch for some quiet time away from his brothers. They’re all absolutely precious and ready for their forever families! If you are interested in meeting any of these babies please email info@eastcan.org and someone will get back with you ASAP to set something up.
