Story
Mr. Chubbers is an 11 year old rescue that has ALWAYS been overweight. I rescued him from the Huntsville Animal Shelter when he was 6 weeks old. He's now about 25 pounds and healthy for such an obese cat. I have 4 other cats that he gets along with fine. All 5 cats are indoor / outdoor. I don't have any children ... I'm retired and live alone with my cats. Mr. Chubbers has been getting worse by peeing on the carpets and scooting. He's too big to clean himself after using the litter box or going outside. He'll scoot on the grass or the floor and I'm getting too old to care for him. He's very gentle and loving. I feed him 3 3-oz. cans of cat food and I have dry food available 24/7. He's particular about what he eats ... mostly pate' and chicken-flavored. He's current on all his vaccinations and has never had any diseases. About 5 years ago, he had triaditis and I had to tube-feed him for 6 weeks. The only reason I have to surrender him is he's too much for me to care for.

Story
The final of our fire wood babies settling in. They’re slowly acclimating to people but having caught them a day later it’s only been a couple days. They’re already not running just from me being in the room and warming up to the idea of pets. As with all the other babies if you end up wanting more than one there’s only one adoption fee. I have zero doubt they’ll end up fine in a house with multiple pets or children

Story
Meet Patches! Patches came to the rescue in May after she gave birth to 2 kittens. She was previously an outside stray cat. She has adjusted well to being indoors since being with us. She uses her litter box. She loves to be loved on. She is a pretty laid back cat. The vet guessed her to be around 5 years old. Her kittens have been adopted, so now it's her turn! She would love to become a part of you family! She has been spayed, wormed, had a rabies, vaccine and flea treatment. If you would like to adopt her, send us a message.

Story
Finn Saban was a rescue from the Humane Society. My husband is elderly and has developed allergies to him. He is about 2 years old. Do not want to return him to the shelter. He does go outside and play and we usually put him out at night. Please adopt him if you can. :)
