SHY BEAUTY  DOB 6/1/23 Meet Snowball, the gentle introvert with a heart as pure as freshly fallen snow. With her soft, snowy fur and blue-grey eyes, Snowball embodies the essence of quiet elegance. This introspective feline finds solace in serene spaces where she can observe the world from a safe distance. While she may prefer the company of a select few, those fortunate enough to earn her trust are rewarded with the deepest wells of affection and loyalty. Whether she's curled up in a cozy corner or perched atop her favorite vantage point, Snowball's serene presence brings a sense of calm to any environment. With her gentle spirit and quiet wisdom, Snowball reminds us that true beauty lies in the depths of the soul and waits to be discovered by those who take the time to truly see.  HOPE ID 24-0131-G024 If you are interested in Snowball and would like to fill out an online Cat Adoption Application, please go to http://www.homelesspets.net/adoption-forms/cat-adoption.php . SUPER SWEET  DOB 2/14/24 What can be cuter than a kitten named after everyone's favorite food, bacon? Bacon is just so cute that you want to pick him up and hug him and squeeze him and kiss him and name him Bacon. This guy will tug on your heartstrings and can be adopted with one of his siblings, Chorizo or Taco. He loves playing chase with other kitties or just sitting quietly in your lap, napping. Story
BETTY BOOP Shy and Timid. She will need time to get used to a new environment (took me 2 months). Let her come up to you and don't chase her. if she gives you an opportunity to pet her, I would do it slowly. If you open a can of tuna or chicken, she'll definitely come running. She does love car rides. She also has a heart-shaped nose, which is how you can tell the difference between her brother (Felix) and her. Note: she doesn't like being held for a long period of time. She will jump off you and scratch you in the process. FELIX High maintenance. Love pets and cuddles. Will lay on top of you or in between you in bed. He loves toilet paper too. Will lay on any surface. They come with their own cat bowl, and I will give a bag treats to go with them. I prefer if they don't get separated from each other because they are a little older than a year. We are trying to get rid of both of them by the end of the week. Please find them a long-term home. Make sure you have cat nip on hand.

Not good with dogs,
Story
Stray cat, for several months I used to see her popping in and out of the drainage sewers, each time a car went past she would hop in the sewer, then a few seconds later pop back out. I left some food for her, felt bad for her, and she began hanging around my yard, but my parents would chase her off, I was feeding her at night when noone was around to see, and she will let me pet her, she will purr, and she tries to get in the garage, you can tell she wants to be adopted. Well they plan to have Pearland animal control come out and trap her, but I think if that happens they will put her to sleep, because she has always lived outside with noone besides me recently to ever not be afraid of. I did give her a dewormer recently, other than that with a person who has a little patience, and kindness she would make a really good pet. 0

Story
Sno was our 2nd pet, adopted 5 yrs ago. He’s always been to himself, preferring a dark corner until he’s ready to be petted. Since then he’s warmed up and actually sleeps on the bed with me. He is submissive to our 1st pet cat. Isn’t bothered by our 3rd pet, a dog. But after getting our 4th pet, (Sage) a dog who we’ve had for going on 2 years in Nov, he’s started showing signs of anxiety. He wasn’t always like this with her but I’ve also become pregnant, so I’m not sure if that’s playing a part. Either way, we’re looking to find homemade another home with a less stressful environment.

Story
These boys came from the same litter and look almost identical so we often call them the twins. They love each other very much and spend the majority of their days playing together or giving each other baths. As far as with people, Ross loves getting attention while Mr.heckles loves nothing more than someone bringing out a toy to play with him. Both must be adopted together.

These pups are in Houston, Texas too!

INDEPENDENT & INQUISITIVE  DOB 8/25/21 Hello everyone! I’m Elsa, a sweet, stunningly beautiful black DSH/ Bombay mix with a sleek, shiny patent-leather coat and big, copper-penny eyes. I’m independent and very inquisitive. I’m initially shy but am so food-driven that I always nudge closer to my foster meowmy for a good treat. I love to tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle with my siblings. I can also entertain myself because I love balls with bells, catnip mice, and crinkle toys. Plus I’m very comfortable around the dogs and other cats in my foster home. Hopefully you're not superstitious because, as Groucho Marx said, 'A black cat's crossing your path signifies that he's going somewhere.' I’m so grateful that I was rescued into a foster home because black cats are five times more likely to be euthanized at a shelter. Most people who adopt black cats once want to adopt one again because of their outstanding personalities and emotional stability. I hope you’ll arrange to meet me! I’d like nothing better than for you to open your heart and home to me. I’ll need patience and time to come out of my shell in my new digs, but it will be worth the effort! I’m one little black panther who’ll leave tiny paw prints all over your heart HOPE ID 22-0219-G022 If you are interested in Elsa and would like to fill out an online Cat Adoption Application, please go to http://www.homelesspets.net/adoption-forms/cat-adoption.php. Submitting an application does not obligate you to adopt, but it initiates contact with us and gets the process started.  If you have questions prior to filling out the application, email us at hope@homelesspets.net and a volunteer will get back to you. EASY-GOING LOVEBUG  DOB 9/1/21 Howdy everyone! I’m Indy, a handsome, easy-going black DSH/ Bombay mix dude with a sleek, shiny patent-leather coat and big, copper-penny eyes. It took me a while to learn that being petted, chin scratches, and lap time with my foster dad might just be a good thing. My mom Luna led the way, so I started curling up on my foster dad’s warm chest for a quick power nap and discovered that it was pretty delightful. My favorite pastimes include following my foster dad into the bathroom (Bombay mixes can be very dog-like), looking handsome, and watching the world go by as I bask in a patch of sunshine on a windowsill. My favorite likes are dry food, toys with tassels, and warm beds. I hope you're not superstitious because, as Groucho Marx said, "A black cat's crossing your path signifies that he's going somewhere." I’m so glad that I came to my HOPE foster home because black cats are five times more likely to be euthanized at a shelter. Most people who adopt black cats once want to adopt one again because of their outstanding personalities and emotional stability. Arrange to meet me today. Find out if YOUR chest could be my next napping station! https://photos.app.goo.gl/9LhdD26NmAhzMUtGA HOPE ID 21-1204-C089 If you are interested in Indy and would like to fill out an online Cat Adoption Application, please go to http://www.homelesspets.net/adoption-forms/cat-adoption.php.
