Story
Daphne was adopted by our family 7 years ago as a kitten. The last few years she has gotten more stressed and less tolerant of our other animals. Daphne is an INDOOR ONLY cat. Ideally she needs a person who will dote on her as the singular pet in the household. She is quirky, sweet, and extremely loving. Daphne is a chill cat who loves to stay near her favorite people. Daphne is not shy around visitors.

Story
Aristocrat is my big, lovable boy who just wants to chill and be fed (seriously, he loves food—so watch out if you have other pets at mealtime!). He’s super relaxed, loves to be held, and will either curl up in your lap or just plop down on the floor for a nap. He’s grown up around a Rottweiler, so dogs don’t faze him at all. He also does great in louder homes—he’s not the type to get spooked by noise or chaos, he just vibes through it all. The only thing to know is that he’s not neutered since I couldn’t afford it, so that’s something his future home should keep in mind. I’m moving across the country for school and can’t take him with me, which is really tough. I just want to find him a loving home where he can keep living his best, lazy life. If you think Aristocrat sounds like your kind of cat, please reach out! I just want to make sure he ends up somewhere safe and loved. ❤️

Story
This is Coraline, my tiny, blue-grey sweetheart who’s barely 7 pounds (if that!). She’s got the cutest little face and a quiet, curious personality. She’s a little shy at first, but once she trusts you, she’s super sweet and loves to just hang out near a window, watching the world go by. ☀️ She’s great with other cats and doesn’t mind dogs, but a super loud or chaotic home might not be the best fit for her. She’s a bit particular when it comes to her litter box—she needs it really clean every day and is picky about the type of litter, so she’d do best with someone who’s patient and understanding of her little quirks. I’ve had Coraline since she was born—her mom was a stray we found in a box in the rain while she was pregnant. So, this is really hard for me. 💔 But I’m moving across the country for school and can’t take her with me, and I just want to find the best possible home where she’ll be safe, loved, and cared for. If you’re looking for a quiet, sweet little companion and think

Story
Donna is gorgeous and she loves a good conversation! She makes great eye contact, and listens carefully. She wants to please, and she's not a cat to ignore you or pretend she doesn't care. She cares! Donna will bond with you and see you as her protector and friend. She enjoys being petted and given attention.  She was assaulted by a cat years ago and is still wary. She has a private room here and we would like her to be an only cat or to have lots of space and her own eating area.  Donna was born in 2014 but doesn't look her age!  We want to make adopting easy for you! Here’s our application:   https://rappcats.org/adoptions/ Once you complete it, we’re on it! We’ll call your vet (or personal reference) the next business day. Then we like to do a brief video chat (FaceTime if you have it) so you can show us your new pet’s home - where they’ll sleep, eat, and play. During our chat, we can also give you tips or answer questions about how to successfully integrate your new family member into your household, especially if you have other pets. Our adoption fee is $150 and covers our costs of spay/neuter, vaccinations, vet exam, and supplies. (Once old enough, all our cats are current on their shots and have been spayed/neutered.) We’re a strictly no-kill shelter just for cats. We’re cage-free, donation-based, and volunteer-powered. We’re small but special and we’re glad you found us! For more info don’t hesitate to call or text us at 540-987-6050 or email us at adopt@rappcats.org.      December 15, 2024, 10:01 pm
