Story
Peaches is a sweet, 3-year-old Staffordshire Terrier with a heart of gold and a calm, playful spirit. Weighing in at around 60 lbs and spayed, shes the perfect companion for someone looking for a loyal friend who can enjoy gentle walks, relaxing naps, and the occasional road trip (she handles car rides like a pro). Peaches is well trained and housebroken, responding nicely to commands like sit, paw, and crate. Shes comfortable on a leash and has been taught to respect invisible fencing, so you can feel secure while she enjoys her time outdoors. While her energy level is moderateideal for both playtime and downtimeshe does best as the only dog in the home, as she isnt fond of other female dogs. Peaches came to us after her previous owner passed away while on vacation, and shes now looking for a new family that can offer her the love, stability, and second chance she truly deserves.

Story
Johnny is a big beefy dog looking for a big beefy guy (or gal) to pal around with! Throw on your matching tank tops and do your workouts together (you're sure to turn heads), followed by a long session tossing the ball around (he never passed a ball he didn't want to pick up), followed by maybe some weight lifting (he'll be your squatty spotter), followed by...yes, you guessed it, Johnny is all go! He's a bit of a freight train on leash and just enough of a bowling ball to knock over small kids, so an adult-only, active, breed aware home is going to be the best fit. Johnny is not compatible with other animals, so make sure you are going to the private gym (not to be mistaken with the dog park).    ~  Est DOB:  Oct 2017 ~  Intake weight:  75#  ~  Adoption details/application:  calhouncountyhs.blogspot.com/p/adopt.htmlNovember 1, 2024, 11:11 pm

Story
If boisterous and beautiful is your kind of gal, meet Norma! She truly embraces life, with a long list of things she loves that includes romping in the yard, squeaking the squeak out of squeaky toys, playing tug, polishing her already good obedience skills (with a few yummy treats for motivation) and so much more. But don't feel left out - she also enjoys her people-time. In fact, she'll push through a loose gate to come be with you, so a secure yard is key. Due to her play style and energy, she is recommended as companion for dogs her own size only, kids 10+, and no cats please.  Norma has EPI, a condition that is manageable with a low-fat diet and enzyme supplements. Please ask the shelter for details.  ***Our pups don't tell us who their parents are - BREED is a GUESS*** ~  Est DOB:  Jan 2018 ~  Intake weight:  59#  ~  Adoption details/application:  calhouncountyhs.blogspot.com/p/adopt.html  January 24, 2025, 9:51 pm

Story
Tiny Tina is a dog selective/unpredictable pet. It's only fair to be honest and say that we need to rehome her because she attacked and killed our oldest dog, as well as a puppy months ago that we rescued. However, she is extremely loving toward people and loves to cuddle and play. We've had her a little over 3 years since we rescued her at about 4 months old. She's never seemed to mind our other fixed cats and dogs until recently and is very bonded to our other dog. She already has an appointment to be spayed in May, so I am still willing to go through with that as well as get any shots she will need. I would really appreciate staying in contact with her new owner as we love her very much. She does okay around our 2 year old but would really appreciate her personal space. It's highly recommended for her to go to a home with no small children or other pets and a fenced in yard. She is very active and playful, and I'm willing to pay for vaccines/supplies/spaying before rehoming!

Story
Legend is a sweetheart who enjoys playing with his foster mates.  His birthday is estimated to be around August 2022.   Written by a volunteer at an adoption event:  "I was sitting in the pen at our Bullywags Petco event, playing with my cuddly, blue-eyed Rescue baby Angel, when I saw that we were being watched sadly, from the next pen, by my Rescue friend Legend, and I could see his cute pink nose and ears that were cut off by a sick thug’s knife, and I felt guilty, so I brought Legend into the pen, too. Side by side, both white pups tried to climb in to my lap but bonked heads and then stopped and looked at each other. Were they gonna fight each other, jealous about sharing my lap? Instead, their tails suddenly wagged and they playfully wrestled each other like the happy pups that they are, rolling and wiggling over and around me, making me laugh at their antics." BullyWag is foster based. We hold weekly adoptions every Saturday from 1-4p at the Petco in Peachtree City, GA.  Not all dogs come every weekeend.  Please email  bullywag2021@gmail.com if you would like meet Legend. We do a two week trial to ensure it is the right fit.  ##1639957##
