Story
Beautiful, sweet, well behaved blue nose that I rescued in December of 2023. Wisdom testing says: 58% Am Staff and 38% Am Pitbull. Unfortunately, I plan to relocate to a place that has breed restrictions. There is no time table and she is mine until I find the perfect family for her. You must understand that she is a Princess. She needs her own bed, pillows, blankies. She, like most pitties, can't tolerate either heat or cold. You can NOT take her out for a run or walk in hot temperatures. She needs to be covered when it's cold. She doesn't like the rain, water or puddles. She won't care if you have a yard as long as you have a couch. She plays well with other dogs but does not like "rough" play because she is too much of a lady. She was at a dog park and a dog was rough with her and she snapped at the air and walked away. I have never seen aggressive behavior in her ... even with that mean old dog who was bothering her. She'll want to play with "her" cat but may chase others.

Story
This sweet mama is all over getting love and attention from every human she meets! She has taken great care of her babies even when they were in a high kill shelter and super stressed out. Jupiter would do great in a home where she gets ALL the love anyone is willing to give her, snacks, and plenty of belly rubs! She has quickly turned into a volunteer favorite at the rescue with her sweet and gentle disposition despite what’s happened to her before rescue. If you’re looking for a couch potato that loves to snuggle and get attention, Jupiter is the girl for you!

Story
What we know about Dolly: Approx 1.5-2 years old Female (spayed) 50 lbs HW+, but has completed her 30 days of doxy and starts fast kill HW treatment (first injection is 7/25/24) After her final injection (end of August) She will be retested for HW in 6 months (NKGC will cover this if she is in her new home) She is also on monthly HW prevention. UTD on shots Microchipped On flea/tick preventative House trained Not destructive (doesn't even destroy her stuffie toys) Crate trained Dolly has weekly sessions with K9KPRO currently working on obedience, leash skills, and familiarity of being around other dogs. Currently Dolly needs to be in a home where she is the only pet. She would do best in a home with no small children. Dolly will greet you the most loving "WOOO'S" when she is excited to see you. Dolly is a miracle. She was found in the middle of a timber farm in the middle of absolute nowhere. We don’t know how long she had been there, other than before being trapped, there were sightings of her for a week. Upon capture, Dolly’s body and behaviors showed signs of her having a very difficult life. From the old, embedded collar scar to her flinching when her food bowl is picked up, there are many things that tell us she hasn’t had an easy life. Nonetheless, this girl loves people and is incredibly smart. Because her life prior to being trapped wasn’t a good one, it is apparent that Dolly had limited to no socialization when it comes to other animals. Likely her interactions with animals were not positive ones. We are currently working with the expert trainers of KPROK9 working on familiarizing Dolly with other animals and each training session she is getting better and better. But we are currently looking for a home where she will be the only pet. Also, because of her tough upbringing, she likely was never able to really be a dog. So, there are times where she still will push her limits, like nibbling on toes and carrying around shoes (thankfully she does not chew, just likes to carry them like prizes). With these puppy-like behaviors, but her being a grown adult dog, we are recommending a home with no small children. Dolly is worthy of finding the absolute best family that is the right fit for her.
