Here's a bit about me:
Housebroken: I'll let you know when I need to go outside by ringing bells or giving you a nudge.
Crate-trained: I'm comfortable in my crate, especially if I have some treat-filled toys to keep me occupied. I might get a bit too excited with the toys, though, so it's best to use them mainly when I'm in the crate.
Free-roaming: I'm trusted to stay out of the crate now! While my foster mom is at work, I enjoy napping, watching squirrels, or playing with my toys.
Quick learner: I know commands like sit, down, stay, come, shake paw, no-jump, and off. I'm still working on heeling, but I can do it on either side. I understand "okay as a cue to relax.
Toy lover: I enjoy a variety of toys-fetching them, bringing them to you, or just playing by myself.
Active and athletic: Whether it's walking, jogging, or running, I'm up for it! If you prefer a quieter activity, I love running around a yard.
Car rides: I'm a pro at car rides and enjoy trips to different places, like the Metro Park.
Snuggly: Once I get to know you, I'm all about cuddles and giving kisses!
Social skills: I'm working on meeting new dogs. I can be a bit nervous at first, but I warm up quickly. Especially to younger dogs that are respectful.
Special needs: I'd be happiest in a home without other animals or a younger dog that will give me time to warm up. I do think I would rather not live with small kids because I don't really like to share my food and toys.
