Story
I inherited her (Ellie) in my divorce, and shes about 2 yrs old. She is my oldest daughters (18) dog and she cant take her. Ellie keeps getting beat up by my dog TBH and I dont have the time to constantly monitor them when theyre out so she spends too much time in her cage. Shes a great dog. Never had her around tiny kids, but she plays well with my 10 & 12 year old daughters. Shes kind of dumb but very sweet. I dont want to take her to my local shelter or animal control bc she is a good dog.

Story
I adopted Bruno when he was just three months old. He’s now a little over two years old. He’s gone through a bit of training and is a fast eager learner. He has lots of energy but after going on a good walk, he enjoys long naps. He’s a very sweet dog and loves people. He gets over excited on first meeting, then within a few minutes it’s like he’s known you forever. He loves to play with his toys, play catch and loves to chase and be chased. He also likes to play hide and seek! Due to worsening health issues, I am unable to continue providing Bruno with regular exercise and lifestyle that makes for a happy healthy dog.

Story
Meet Rico! Hey friends, my name is Rico! If you have a minute, let me tell you about myself! I came to the shelter a little while ago, I had fallen on some hard times and honestly wasn't in great shape. It's a long and kind of sad story, and I'm more of an upbeat kind of pup, so I won't bore you with the details of it. The bulletpoints version of it, when I was brought to the shelter I was like, crazy skinny, and really really stinky. The friends I made at the shelter gave me a really good meal and a bath, and since then things have all been going my way! Well, not in the whole "adoption" part, but everything else has been pretty great. I've had lots of time to discover my favorite things and make new friends. I get crazy excited for my food, but honestly who wouldn't? When you go as long as I did surviving on scraps, having a consistent meal every day is a pretty rad thing. I like toys too, but my favorite toys are the ones that my friends call "tough toys". I could honestly chew on one of those things all day long, they're the best. Other than that, I have to say my absolute favorite thing in the whole wide world is playing in water! Whenever it's bath time, I always have my friends laughing their pants off. I can't help it, it's just so much fun to try and eat the water! Sometimes, on a nice warm day, they will break out a sprinkler or splash pad for me, and I get to run around and chase the water, those are my favorite days! Aside from all that, I'm a pretty down-to-earth pup. I can come across a little hyper and excitable, but at the end of the day I just want someone who can give me all the love I've missed out on.  Rico is fully vetted, neutered, and microchipped. He is an American Staffordshire Terrier mix with an estimated birthday of 04/29/2021, and weighs in around 50lbs. He is good with other dogs, but if you currently have any at home a meet and greet is always required. His adoption fee is $125.  Interested? Give us a call at 615-446-7387.  ##1701422##

Story
Meet Canyon! Canyon is finally ready to find his forever home. Canyon was trapped by Animal Control after he was spotted roaming all alone in the woods. He was skin and bone, weighing less than 40lbs when he entered our care. He was very scared and unsure of everything, but as soon as he realized that we were here to help him, he showed us that he can be one of the sweetest, loyalest, most loving dogs around. We got Canyon the medical care he needed, as well as lots of nutritious meals, and he bloomed into the most handsome boy. He knows his name, walks great on a leash, and knows how to sit wonderfully for a yummy treat. Canyon is an American Staffordshire Terrier mix, and his estimated birthday is 01/01/2019. He can still be a little wary of new people, but once you earn his trust you will never meet a dog so easy to bond with. Canyon is suited to a cat free home, and his unsteady history makes him better suited to a home with no children under 12. He has done well with dogs here, but as always we require a meet and greet if you already have any other dogs at home.  Canyon is fully vetted, microchipped, and neutered. His adoption fee is $175.  Interested? Give us a call at 615-446-7387.  ##1791189##

Loves to snuggle Food is her jam… treats are her Does well on leash LOVES her walks Zoomie Queen Sleep hard, play hard … that should be her motto She’s got allergies we manage with daily benedryl Like any older gal, she’s got some arthritis No kennel needed! (She really just hates them) Chloe is about 6 years old. . She came into rescue when her owner passed away. She took a few days to settle but once she did… watch out. . She loves to be outside but really loves to inside. Lays in front of the fan... She snores… not does she snoreShe would be perfect for a family that doesn’t need a crazy active dog. She has some hip issues that cause her to limp a bit. When she runs around, she gets sore (ps… so do I.. us older gals). Another dog would be good for her… she plays and uses her voice quite a bit.
