Story
Buddy loves to play and run. Prior to living with me, he had 3 other dogs in his pack. owner was a truck driver, so he and his pack traveled often. He loves camping/hiking but not fond of swimming. I had 2 geriatric cats and a kitten at the time, and he integrated well with them. My grandchildren adore him, and he has learned to curb his physical enthusiasm when we come home after being gone all day. Despite long hours alone in the house, he has never destroyed anything or had an accident. (except once with diarrhea and it was at the door). He is smart, sweet, friendly and playful. He has learned multiple commands (sit, stay, no, come, load up, lay down-both in English and French) I live in the city, with very little yard space. I work from early am to late evening most days. I take him to the dog park, where he runs and plays well with most dogs..(he attempts to dominate unneutered males). He needs a loving hone to give him the life he deserves. I have all you need to take care of him

Story
This sweet girl is named Mia. We found her on the side of the road and took her in. We love her but cant continue to care for her anymore. She loves to play with other dogs but can be toy possessive. She enjoys doggie day care and cuddles. She will be 2yrs old in June (vet estimate) so has lots of energy and loves to go on walks. She is up to date on all shots and surgeries. When she was fixed some ovarian tissue was left over and she had to get another surgery to get everything out. We are more then happy to provide all vet records. She knows basic commands and is house and crate trained. She really is a good girl and would love to be the center of someones world. No adoption fee we just want to make sure shes going to a good home with people who are serious about caring for her

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Smokey is an affectionate, fun fellow who loves to cuddle, play ball, watch TV, and take walks. He's great with kids and other animals, and he's fully house trained and crate trained. He would be very excited to meet his forever family! His adoption fee is $200.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Interested in this animal? The first step is an application, which can be completed at www.cvrrescue.org/adoption-applications/. The adoption fee helps cover a portion of the care provided for our animals, including spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm testing for dogs, FeLV/FIV combo testing for cats, deworming, age-appropriate vaccines (including rabies vaccine), and any medical care received while in our care. All cats and dogs are on flea/tick and parasite prevention for the duration of foster care. Notes about puppies: Adopters can expect a new puppy to have accidents, chew things they shouldn't, and have other normal, energetic puppy issues until they are trained, including jumping, mouthing, and general youthful naughtiness. If you experience puppy issues, please feel free to contact us; we’re happy to offer guidance. Also, if a puppy is a mixed breed, we cannot guarantee an adult weight. If your residence has weight restrictions or if you’re looking for a specific adult weight, we don't recommend applying for a mixed-breed puppy. We also offer rehoming services for pets currently owned by individuals. In these cases, we list the animal as a courtesy to the owner, and the animal is not currently in the care of CVRR, such that we can make no representation or guarantee of the animal’s behavior, demeanor, or health assessment. All information listed for a courtesy-posted animal is provided by the current owner and should be verified by any potential adopter. CVRR is a nonprofit organization. We have no paid staff, and all applications are reviewed and processed by our volunteers. Please be patient and understand that it may take 7-14 days to process your application, check your references, and gather follow-up info. You can expedite the process by providing accurate phone numbers and email addresses for your vet and landlord references, and by answering each question fully. Once your application is approved, we will schedule a meet-and-greet to see if the animal picks you, too. If it seems the adoption will be a good match for all, we will collect the adoption fee and complete the adoption contract. CVRR is a NO KILL rescue organization, and we have a LIFETIME COMMITMENT to all of our animals. If for any reason the adoption does not work out, the animal must be returned to CVRR. We will reevaluate the animal and choose a new home based on the best fit for it. March 3, 2025, 9:38 am

Story
Journey has been at the rescue for close to 3 years! Despite his lengthy stay he has continued to be incredibly sweet and affectionate. He is not only friendly towards humans, but also plays well with other dogs, making him an ideal companion for a multi-dog household. He is playful - loves toys. Journey also enjoys meeting new people, always hoping that one of the new humans will take him home. It is hard to believe that this friendly guy has been in rescue for most of his life. Is it because he isn't as pretty as some other dogs? It certainly isn't because of his behavior. Journey is waiting to have a home of his own with people who will provide him with the love and attention he deserves.FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN.
