Story
Hello my name is Jango I am an American Staffordshire terrier Mix and I am around 4 years old and weigh about 60lbs. I have lived the majority of my life in the shelter and that is all I know because of that I would need to be shown how to live and act in a house. I would need to go to a home with no cats. Also older children as I don't know my own strength. I do get along with most dogs but would probably prefer a female dog friend that is around my size. If you are looking for a loving and smart dog that loves food, toys and going for walks I just might be your guy so please email and get an application. If you are interested in meeting Jango we ask that you please email adoption@columbiahumane.org in order to obtain an application. The adoption fee is $250.00, which includes neuter, microchip, flea treatment, deworming and vaccinations. All adoptions are done by appointment only, with an approved application on file. We truly appreciate your interest in helping a dog in need. For more information call 503-397-4353 or email adoption@columbiahumane.orgDecember 30, 2024, 6:04 am

Story
Ruben is a typical puppy: energetic, curious, and mouthy. He craves attention and affection. Ruben is moderately crate trained. As a puppy, he is better off with blankets in his crate.  He loves playing with toys but needs some attention in terms of just being with people and getting more socialized.  When he is calm after some play, he is very sweet. He has an intense stare and is likely a great candidate for scent work. He is super agile and loves to run fast. He can actually entertain himself with a variety of things in the yard.  He was found in an orchard field... and not much around to sustain him. So, he is in need of love and care to round out his early struggles. But, he is young, and is learning quickly basic commands.November 6, 2024, 2:40 pm
