Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Rome and his 2 sisters, Ruth and Remi were found on 10/22/21 on North Main in Austin, MN.  These 3 were born to a feral momma probably in July, '21.  Rome is a shy guy at first.  When he knows you and his surroundings, he is a typical kitten.  We are looking for a strictly indoor home for this little guy.  He has tested neg for feline leukemia/FIV, is neutered and is current on shots. Adoption fee is $80.  A pet carrier is required at the time of adoption and you must be 21 to adopt from MCHS.  To meet Rome or any of our other cats, go to mchs.rescuegroups.org and complete and submit our online application.  We will review and get in touch to set up a meeting time.  Our address is 101 22 ST SE, Austin, MN.  We are located off of I-90 via exit 180B to 218 SOUTH.  We are just past our local airport.  THANKS!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 5, 2024, 10:55 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Beth arrived at MCHS via the Austin City Pound in July, 2023 when her holding time there was up and she was due to be euthanized.  She was about 6 weeks old at the time of rescue. Beth came with her siblings, Rip, Lainey, Dutton and Jewel.  She is a very lovely kitten who does well with the other cats here at MCHS.  She has tested neg for feline leukemia/FIV, is now spayed and is current on her shots.  Her adoption fee is $80.  You must be 21 to adopt from MCHS and a pet carrier is required at the time of adoption.  To meet Beth or any of our cats, go to mchs.rescuegroups.org and complete and submit our online application.  We will review and get in touch to set up a meeting time.  Our address is 101 22 ST SE, Austin, MN.  We are located off of I-90 via exit 180B to 218 SOUTH.  We are just past our local airport.  THANKS.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 5, 2024, 10:55 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Barkley was rescued from the Austin City Pound on 11/17/23.  He originally came from the Palleton Company in NE Austin.  Unfortunately there are several unfixed cats who have been abandoned and the population has become quite large because of human negligence in this area of Austin.  Barkley is a very handsome guy who is a bit on the shy side until he knows you. He is about 2 years old at the time of rescue.  He has blossomed since he figured out that people aren't all bad.  He likes to be held and has a ready purr with the volunteers here at MCHS.  In a new home, we think there will be an adjustment where he will be shy, but with patience, we have seen success happen with this guy!  Barkley is now neutered and current on his shots.  He has tested neg for feline leukemia and positive for FIV.  We are looking for an long-lasting home for this handsome guy. A one pet home would be the best fit for Barkley.  Adoption fee is waived with an approved application. A pet carrier is required and you must be 21 to adopt from MCHS.  To meet Barkley or any of our cats, go to mchs.rescuegroups.org and complete and submit our online application.  We will review and get in touch to set up a meeting time.  Our address is 101 22 ST SE, Austin, MN.  We are located off of I-90 via exit 180B to 218 SOUTH.  We are just past our local airport.  THANKS.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.February 28, 2025, 1:06 pm
