Story
Meet Lola! She may be a little shy at first, but once you earn her trust, you’ll see how sweet and gentle she truly is. With her soft, fluffy fur and quiet demeanor, she’s the type to observe the world from a distance before deciding you’re her friend. Lola would appreciate a calm and patient human who understands that she likes to take her time. Lola is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on her vaccinations. She is being fostered at the moment so email adoptions@caspca.org and we can set you up with the foster family to coordinate a time to come in and see her!

Story
Butternut is a resilient and loving feral mom cat who has overcome so much on her journey. She arrived at the shelter with three sickly kittens, and despite her own challenges, she dedicated herself to nursing and caring for them until they were strong enough to stand on their own. After her babies were well, a vet discovered that Butternut had a broken jaw, a painful condition she had been living with silently. After her jaw healed, she needed teeth removed and more time to fully recover, but through it all, Butternut showed incredible patience and strength. Now fully recovered, Butternut is ready for a forever home. While still a bit scared of human activity, she has become a wonderful companion to other cats and has developed a special love for laser toys. She may take a little time to adjust to her new people, but with her resiliance and desperate desire for affection, she will make a loyal and playful friend to those who are patient enough to earn her trust. Butternut is proof that, with a little time and care, even the most reserved cat can bloom into a loving companion.
