Story
Sweet Anatolian MixAll dogs are located in foster homes in southeast Arizona, between Benson and Willcox just off Interstate 10. It is approximately 2 1/2 hours from the Phoenix area or 1 hour east of Tucson. Tolbert is approximately 4 years old and weighs 76 pounds. Tolbert is an exceptionally nice boy. He can be a bit shy when he meets new people, but he warms up nicely. He was found as a stray with another dog, but the other dog seems to have been adopted by the shelter. Tolbert was noted as loving the finder's child and friends ranging in ages of 7 to 14. Tolbert does well with other dogs, he is rather submissive and easy going. Please come meet Tolbert and make 2024 be his best year ever! Please call or email for an appointment! 602-316-8919 fedwellfarm@yahoo.comAugust 17, 2024, 12:04 am

Story
Penny came to us from the euthanasia list at the county shelter. She weighed a severely overweight 110 lbs and suffered from chronic eye issues. She was going to be euthanized for her medical needs. She was a volunteer favorite at the shelter, and what was more than clear to all of us was that this precious girl had simply never been given the chance to live the life she deserved. Since coming into our care, Penny has lost over 45 lbs and is looking better than we could have ever imagined. She has transformed into the type of dog who would fill her perfect home with all the love in the world. She loooves to play, adores her toys, has learned impressive obedience commands [and impulse control!], and she really is something special. Given her size and strength, Penny would do best with a person or family who can keep up her obedience work at home so she can continue to be her very best self and get in all the walks and activity that she needs. And speaking of home, she would love to be your one and only fur baby, and she made me promise to tell you that a yard for her would be a dream come true. Penny's adoption fee includes her completed veterinary exams, bloodwork, vaccines, microchip and spay. With her in it, we can promise your home won't feel empty again, and she is sure to steal your heart 100 times over...guaranteed! To meet Penny, apply here https://lovethemallrescue.org/penny. She is sure to steal your heart 100 times over.

Story
Lando is a handsome, athletic dog who loves to play in water. He loves hiking and would be a fantastic running partner! Lando will be placed in the Phoenix metro area, for proximity to our rescue (home checks, follow up visits, visit to finalize adoption) and for access to our veterinarian. Our adoptions begin with a Foster-To-Adopt period, which is not feasible with remote placements. If you believe you're a possible match based on the detailed profile posted on our website,  please complete our online adoption application. "Companion animal" means, needs at least one other friendly, playful dog that lives full-time in the same household. "Fenced yard" means, a backyard that is adjacent to and connected with your residence and owned by you or your landlord. (It does not mean a nearby fenced area or dog park or apartment/condo dog play area.)  Gates must have padlocks and thresholds (cement or buried pavers to prevent digging.) Yard and patio must be free of debris and have room for dogs to run and play on a lawn and/or in a very shaded area. Please do not invite us to your home if you have not yet landscaped your yard! “Swimming pool” means a private (belongs to you), in-ground, year-round pool that is available to the dog daily or multiple times per week. We will not place a dog in a home that has a "drained" or empty swimming pool (fall hazard and contributes to the propogation of mosquitos.) We DO NOT adopt to students as we have found that they often do not know or anticipate where life will take them. Discussion about a dog - including scheduling a home check - cannot occur until we have received your completed adoption application. Thank you! August 9, 2024, 12:07 am
