Story
Freddy was chained at a property in Cancun. Very short chain with limited access to food and water. He was very thin with skin issues, and basically neglected, yet his sunny disposition still shone. After being rescued, he blossomed into an incredible dog. Somewhat territorial with other males (his "job" having been to protect the property where he'd been living); he does get along with most dogs and all people. He has a sweet, inherent spirit. From our website: FREDDY✨ 😎 Breed: terrier/australian shepherd mix 🐶 Age 3 years 🌍 Location: Cancun, Mexico but we will bring him to Lake Tahoe for adoption in the future 💙 Male 📏 Size: medium ⚖️ Weight: 12 kg (26 lbs) 🩺Vetting: Full vaccine complete, Puppy, Quíntuple Rabies, Bordatella. Dewormed, Spayed/ Neutered, 4DX snap, Nexgarde/Simparica. Healthy. 💃Energy: ACTIVE 🐶Dog Friends: Yes 🐱Cat Friends: We think so. He seems to not react to cats at all beyond normal curiosity. There were cats at the property he was rescued from, along with ducks. 👧🏽 Friends: Yes – he has been friendly with dogs but he can be unpredictable. He can react to other male dogs but seems to do fine with females (in his space).. He is an ACTIVE absolutely loving boy and definitely one’s best friend ⛓Leash etiquette: Yes 🥘 Resource guarding: He was chained to a tree for 3 years so food is his main interest for now He is very obedient when spoken to and well behaved but needs a little of basic training, everything is new for him 📣 Bark/noisy: Will bark only to communicate and sometimes when he is excited and happy 🏡 Housebroken: Yes ⛓ Leash etiquette: Yes ! 🚙 Good in car: Yes, calm in the car! TEMPERAMENT FREDDY is an incredibly sweet and loving dog, very calm. He would make for a great companion to someone who is looking for a companion, he loves to be around people and Freddy is beginning to explore the world. He also would be great with a family, as he already has shown gentle affection. Freddy is currently working with a trainer in Cancun to overcome his territorial issues. We would love him to go to a very special person/family due to his rough beginning. With the right people, he will make a very good companion.

Story
Big boy with big personality. Hhis own dog lol. Super human friendly, very loyal. Loves to be active, so requires space to run daily. Gets along with Female dogs great , male dogs not so great. He is trained to sit, catch, shake, lay and heel. Finn does not need constant attention. He is an independent doggy. His favorite things are water, peanut butter and cowboy movies. Finn can be stubborn when called but nothing a good ol treat trick can’t handle. Looking to rehome him because of his inability to be calm around MALE canines. We’ve already rehomed 2 of our other dogs to prevent this but we refuse to keep rehoming because of his behavior. And walks can be sketchy, he’s unpredictable. So an owner whom who looking solely for loyal companion that mostly stays home, Finns perfect for you!! He takes his perimeter checks of the home very seriously. . Very skilled guard dog. Definitely feel safe with him around. Intimidating structure but underneath heart of gold for his humans.
