Story
Meet our Labor Day Pups. Grace Lynn came to Barkville on August 29th, 2024. She was dropped off at our partner vet in Johns Creek for her intake vetting. Because it was Labor Day weekend she scheduled for her exam on Tuesday, September 3rd. To everyone&#39s surprise, when the vet tech came in on Tuesday morning, they were greeted by smiling Grace Lynn and her 9 beautiful puppies. This litter of 9 puppies (5 females and 4 males) was born on 9/2/2024. They are believed to be Anatolian Shepherd Mixes. When full grown, we expect these puppies to be medium to large size, weighing between 45 - 70lbs. They are all adorable playful puppies and will require patience and continued training as they mature. They are all sweet, friendly, and curious puppies always ready to explore and play. Their energetic nature is balanced by their love for cuddles, making them the perfect companion for any adventure or a quiet evening at home. These puppies are not just pets, they will be your friend, a confidante, and a source of unconditional love. Their playful spirit and loving nature make them the perfect addition to any family. Adopt one of Grace Lynn&#39s Puppies and bring home a loyal friend who will fill your life with joy and happiness. The Labor Day Pups will be available for foster to adopt starting in November 2024. BarkVille Dog Rescue will cover all their vet care, age-appropriate vaccines, their spay/neuter, and microchip. Once spay/neutered they will be ready to complete their adoption. Since these are young puppies, please consider the following: Housetraining, chewing, barking, crying at night, high energy level, nipping, socializing, training. For more information about one of the Labor Day Pups, please email us at info@barkvilledogrescue.org. or submit an application at: https://www.barkvilledogrescue.org/applications. BarkVille is located in Roswell, GA and our dogs are available for foster/adoption in the Greater Atlanta area. Applicants in surrounding states could potentially adopt a BarkVille dog if their application is approved, they live within 2-3 hours of the Greater Atlanta area, and they are able to pick up their dog from the foster home.January 12, 2025, 9:23 pm

Story
Annie is the ultimate cuddle bug! This little couch potato loves to lounge but still has some zoomies left in her young bones. She’s not your average livestock guardian; she’s a diva who demands the royal treatment! When it comes to furry friends, she can be a bit picky, but with a gentle and gradual intro, she’ll warm up like a toasty marshmallow! She’d totally thrive with a buddy dog or a work-from-home human because, this gal hates being left solo! Age: 2 years   Weight: 90 lb    Temperament:  Good with other dogs and cats with slow introduction, good with kids   Training: Housetrained, crate trained Vetting: spayed, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative      For questions, please email: tucker.nd@gmail.com  To ensure we're meeting both pet and adopters' needs, we ask potential adopters to complete an Adoption Application (www.bit.ly/DH-Adoption) for caretakers to review. Once your application is approved, we will bring the adoptable pet to your home for a preliminary visit. We are 100% donation-funded and our fees are equivalent to (or less than) the cost to fully vet a new dog yourself. November 15, 2024, 5:23 pm

Story
Meet Bearon! This handsome hunk with beautiful eyes is a  4 -year-old, 65-pound Great Dane and Catahoula mix (we think). He's house- and crate-trained and walks well on a leash. He's looking for his forever family and wants a home where he's your only kiddo (human or furry). Bearon is cautious around strangers and appreciates slow, gentle introductions. Once you’re in his circle of trust, though, he’s a total love bug—affectionate, sweet, and devoted. While he gets along with other dogs, Bearon prefers to be the "star of the show" since he is a little protective of his food and toys. An active boy with plenty of energy, Bearon would love a home with a securely fenced backyard where he can romp and play. After some exercise and fun, he’s all about couch cuddles and sleeping by your side. Complete an adoption application and meet him during our Home for Holidays Special!!   An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online at http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms  For inquiries, email inquiry@angelsrescue.org Please be sure to like our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.           January 15, 2025, 8:10 pm

Story
Hello all, I am Scoobie! I am a 8-year-old, beautiful, black, Great Dane and sometimes I even act like I know it! My fommy always calls me hansum, she makes me blush! And if you need to smile, well look no further than me! As you will see, I have a flipped up ear at times! It’s like a comb over ear! It brings a smile to everyone’s face! I’m a big boy at about 120 pounds, and my personality is BIG TOO! So here are the things a hooman needs to know about me.  I would do best being the only pup as I like my things. I don’t share the best with humans or other animals, so I need someone who can keep helping me be the best me like my foster parents do! They are patient with me, work with me, and when I do good things, they give me treats!! So I love doing good things!   I’m very food motivated so I will pretty much do anything you want me to do if you have a treat in your hand! I am also on medication daily that helps me be a better me and will need that medication indefinitely. I am a big couch potato, but I also sleep well in a crate. I am potty trained too! Woohoo!   I am a very strong boy, I don’t mean to be, but I am so I do need someone strong enough to handle my big boy size and strength. My foster mom’s requirements for being my new family are:   Must have Great Dane experience No children  No other pets Patient and willing to continue the training work.  Understands that I will forever be on medication that helps calm me and it works!      If you think you would love to be my new family and would love to give me the home I need to live out my golden years, please let Angels Among Us know!     An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online.  http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms     Please be sure to like our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.  Email inquiry@angelsrescue.org    Note:   Some apartments and neighborhoods  have breed restrictions. We verify rental policies and adhere to any regulations. Please ensure you understand those restrictions before choosing a dog.           January 15, 2025, 8:10 pm
