I adore people and like to sit by their feet and get lots of hugs and pets. I get along great with other pooches, and it would be terrific to share my life with a canine sibling if you have one. I’m very smart and already know a number of basic commands. I’m good at entertaining myself with toys, in particular peanut butter-filled Kongs, and am a whiz at solving every food puzzle. Finally, I’m already a star when it comes to potty training, and you’ll never have to ask me twice to go in my crate, as I consider it my den. I do ask for a fenced in yard as I have energy to run around for a while and play. I’m a sweet and loving girl in search of a home of my own with a patient person/family to help build my confidence and allow me to become a super star. Because here’s the thing. Although not much is known about my background, other than I was a stray residing in an overcrowded Texas facility before C.A.R.E. rescued me, my life on the streets was definitely a scary time that I am still decompressing from.The C.A.R.E. staff and volunteers tell me I am the perfect pup and adorable. I just need some patience and someone that would like to continue with my training because I am so smart. I would also do amazing with another dog that loves my energy and playtime but it is not required. Do I sound like the pup you’ve been waiting for?
