KB is a sweet and relatively calm, female Anatolian Shepherd mix. She was found running as a stray in a terrible heat wave and was never reclaimed. She is approximately 4 years old, and is a big girl at around 80 lbs. She seems to do well with other dogs here at the facility and is friendly with people. Her adoption fee is $150 and includes her spay, microchip, vaccinations and negative heartworm test. Story
Hi, my name is Boji, that’s Bo-gee, and I’m a real good puppy only four months old and already house-trained. I get along with all the dogs I’ve met so far and I even like to play with cats. I really like children but I’m a big boy and sometimes have to be careful not to knock them over. You see everyone tells me I’m going to grow into my giant paws whatever that means. I’m already 48 lbs and growing. I’m an Anatolian Shepherd mix so I might be on the large side, about 100+, when I grow up. I’m going to be very loyal and protective of my family because they are going to be my flock and it’s my job so I’ll need lots of early socialization to make sure I know everyone is my friend. I’ve got the usual puppy energy but also like to rest in between bouts of play. I walk great on a leash and try to stay close to my people. I really need a family that will commit to me for my whole life as I will be very committed to them. I’d love to find a home with a comfy bed, large back yard to play in and air-conditioning cause I get pretty hot when I play. And I really like hugs and kisses as I’m a gentle boy and I respond well to positive reinforcement. I’m hoping to find my forever home soon so I can start getting to know my new family. His adoption fee of $300 covers his neuter, microchip with registration, vaccines, deworming, and current monthly flea, tick, and heartworm preventions.  Please apply at gfrpets.org/apply. ##2143786##
