This boy was returned due to owners downsizing. He is a sweet boy who is doing well in a foster home. He is housetrained with a dog door and gets along with cats. He doesn't mind other dogs and is very adjustable to new routines. He does know some commands and is treat motivated. He learns very quickly and would do well in any type home. I’m Peanutbutter Cup, but my friends call me Peanut. I’m a 2-year-old Mini Aussie, and at 15 pounds, I’m the perfect size for snuggles and playtime. I might be a little shy and quiet at first, but once I warm up to you, I’m all about the love and cuddles. I just can’t get enough of being near my humans or hanging out with my doggy friends. Loud noises and thunderstorms can make me a bit nervous, and I’m still getting used to all the new things in the world. I’m working on my potty training and doing pretty well with it, especially when I’m on a good schedule. But I’ll be honest—crates aren’t really my thing. I’m not a fan of going in them at all. I also need some more practice with leash walking, as I tend to freeze up when I’m on one. So, I’d do best in a home with a fenced yard where I can run and play safely. When I’m outside with my doggy pals, that’s when I’m truly in my happy place. I love chasing them around and having fun in the yard. Having another dog around really helps me feel secure and confident, so I’d love to have a furry sibling in my forever home. I’m great with dogs of all sizes and even respectful of cats. I’m still learning about toys, but I’m discovering that balls and bones are pretty fun! I’m a bit shy about taking treats from your hand, so I prefer you leave them in my bowl for me to enjoy when I’m ready. I’m a big-time cuddle bug, and once I get to know you, I’ll be your shadow, following you everywhere. I have a little bit of anxiety, so a calm and relaxed environment would be perfect for me.
