Calling All Mastiff Lovers: Big Bubba is Back!Hi there, Mastiff fans! It’s me, Bubba, and I’m back at FDHS, looking for my perfect forever family. I’m a big, goofy puppy with a sweet soul and a few quirks, but I promise I’m worth the effort!I’ll admit, I’m a work in progress. I was recently returned to the shelter because I have some resource-guarding behaviors that need a little extra guidance. I need someone experienced with dogs like me who can help me learn the ropes and be my best self. I’ve lived with a smaller dog and a cat before, and I didn’t mind letting them take charge—I’m a gentle giant at heart!People tell me I’m great on a leash until I run out of energy (which doesn’t take long), and then I’ll need a slice of cheese to get me moving again. Oh, and fair warning: I’m not a fan of vacuum cleaners or roosters—those things give me the creeps!I can be a little shy when meeting new people, especially men, but I warm up quickly to women. Slow, calm introductions are key to winning my trust. Once I feel safe, I’ll show you just how sweet and loyal I can be.I’m a very special guy looking for a very special home. If you have experience with big dogs like me and think you can give me the love, patience, and cheese slices I need, please submit an adoption application for me.
