ADOPT TANK! This stunning guy is Tank!! He is ready to steal your heart! Tank is a 10–12-month-old Great Pyrenees/Shepard mix. He has a gorgeous unique colored coat and the most beautiful golden eyes. Tank currently weighs 85 lbs. He has an excellent temperament with other dogs, as he plays great with small puppies and large adult males and females very well. He is a gentle giant. He walks fairly well on a leash and likes to dip his feet in the water to cool off. He suffered some abuse from his previous home so if you get stern with him many times he will just lay down. He is overall a great dog, and we know you will fall in love when you meet him! **Adoption fee is reduced to $100 for the month of March, includes neuter, deworming, vaccines, heartworm negative and started on prevention, flea/tick free and microchip. Apply to adopt at www.arlorescue.com ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS: A secure fenced yard and good vet history.

Reba is another one of our visitors we are housing from the Choctaw rescue fire at FurEverFriends. She is a big playful puppy and would love friends to play with. She is a little timid with new people at first meet but warms up quickly with some quick TLC. She gets so excited her butt does big wiggles and she smiles. She is a happy loving girl hoping for the perfect forever home.

Story
Duke #2 is very sweet, he keeps a clean crate. He is in an area with other dogs and gets along fine. He loves attention. Very sweet, shy at first. Please research this breed of dog before considering adopting. First submit an application. Once the application has been received. You will be contacted so we can set up an appointment for you to meet your new best friend. You will need to submit veterinary references and have a fenced in yard. If you currently have other dogs, the following information can help you with introductions. 1.The first introduction between ND and ED should be outdoors in the yard or driveway. Though this is ED’s territory, it is more neutral than inside the house. 2. After the first introduction, immediately take ND and ED on a short walk together. Then bring them inside and feed them a small meal together. Both dogs should be leashed for this so that you can keep them from interfering with the other dog’s food. This sets a precedent for ND being a part of the pack and routine. 3. All interactions between ND and ED need to be positive. If this means they only interact for a few minutes at a time to sniff each other, then this is all they should get. Frequent, positive interactions, especially in the first few days, are vital to having a successful integration.
