Story
I have had Koda since July 2019 from a previous coworker who needed to rehome him. Koda is 5.5 years old and is the sweetest boy ever. He wants attention as much as you’ll give it with lots of affection as close as he can be to you. He enjoys playing outside but ultimately just wants to be wherever his people are at. He does not bark often and the only thing I make sure isn’t in reach for him is paper, toilet paper or cardboard other than those items he won’t tear anything up when left inside alone. I do have some health concerns for him however he still maintains his normal eating, drinking and using the bathroom outside routines. He would be best with someone or couple that has time for him, he used to be 1 of 3 dogs and was never aggressive towards them. He’s never been around cats before and has been around very young children maybe three times in his life again never being aggressive. A big yard would be best for him as well.

Rue, a beautiful 1 yr old Anatolian mix, is on the hunt for her forever home. She found a bestie at her foster home in the form of the family cat where they enjoy sunbeams together! She also gets along with all sizes of dogs and is really a gentle soul. Rue is housetrained and not a huge fan of crates though she will stay in one if needed. She would do best with an active family and a big yard to hang out with her peeps and maybe another dog! Our applications are at www.carerescueok.org if you are interested in meeting this sweet girl! ##1791806##

Huxley was pretty nervous/untrusting coming in but he has warmed up quickly to the staff and volunteers. He's a big skinny boy that will be your buddy for a few treats. He seems like a pretty mellow guy. He keeps his kennel clean. He can be quite the talker. And he has the cutest freckles on his nose and right ear. Please come meet him and give him a chance at the love ( & groceries) he deserves.

Story
Hi there! I’m Tink, a 2-year-old Mastiff mix with a heart as big as my paws—and trust me, my paws are BIG! I’m basically the living embodiment of “gentle giant.” Think of me as the kind of dog who’d be perfectly content to spend an afternoon lounging with you, preferably near a water bowl or two (I might have a slight water obsession, but who doesn’t love a good splash?). I came to PPFT after I found myself at the shelter after being surrendered. It wasn’t exactly the lap of luxury—I spent a few weeks there waiting for someone to notice me. The shelter was a bit overwhelming, but I kept my chin up and hoped for a second chance. Then, one day, the amazing folks at Pyr Paws N Fluffy Tails Rescue came to my rescue, thanks to a foster family stepping up for me. They saw my potential and knew I had a lot of love to give. And boy, was I excited to join their fluffy family! Since arriving here, I’ve been soaking up all the affection and care from my wonderful foster family. Now, lets jump into why you should adopt me! First off, I might not be the fastest runner in the park, but I sure am a champion at lounging. I’m more into short strolls and car rides where I can chill like a pro. Speaking of car rides? They’re my favorite! Just give me a little boost to get in, and I’ll happily relax and enjoy the scenery. I’m a laid-back kind of guy who’s not too fussed about being active. While I won’t be joining you on any 5Ks, I’m all for a leisurely walk or a quiet evening at home. Big excitement is not really my style—I prefer a calm environment where I can unwind and soak up the good vibes. When it comes to other pets, I’m pretty easygoing. I’ll play nice with other dogs, though I’m not much of a rough-and-tumble kind of guy. Cats? I’m curious but gentle, so I’m sure we can be pals if they’re up for it. Kids are a hit in my book, too, especially those who are a bit older. I do need to be careful around little ones because, let’s face it, I’m a big guy who might accidentally knock them over. Now, let’s talk about my quirks. I’m a bit of a water enthusiast—drinking it is my sport of choice. I might make a splash or two with my water bowl, and yes, I’ve figured out how to lift the toilet lid (so be prepared for us to awkwardly stare at one another when you find me helping myself to the big ole water bowl that is just the right height for my big ole self). I’m also a drooler, but that just along with my lovely fluff, I will also be happy to share that with you as well. Hold the appawlause, it's all part of my job to make sure you feel LOVED! My foster mom says my brown eyes are the ultimate melt-your-heart feature, and I couldn’t agree more! Ah, house manners, you ask? Well, let me put it this way: I'm like a polite houseguest who never overstays his welcome. I’m a model citizen with free roam of the house, which means I’m pretty trustworthy and know how to behave indoors. I don’t chew on things that aren’t mine, and I’ve never tried to dig up the garden. I’m not a big barker, but I might whine a bit if left alone—just a little reminder that I’m a sensitive soul who loves company. My house manners are so impeccable, you might even forget I'm there... until you see my big, happy face! I’m a well-behaved, low-energy kind of guy who is perfectly fine with free roam of the house. I love being brushed, so grooming sessions are a win-win for both of us. As long as you’re up for a bit of slobber and an endless supply of love, I’m your perfect match! Ready to add a splash of joy (and a dash of drool) to your life? Come meet me, Tink, and discover why I’m the gentle giant you’ve been dreaming of! Whether you're into cozy couch cuddles, peaceful strolls, or just having a big, lovable buddy to share your snacks with, I'm here to make it all happen. Adopt me, and let’s make every day a little brighter and a whole lot fluffier together! 📍 Pickup Location: Claremore, OK 📝 Adoption App: https://www.emailmeform.com/builder/form/hx000BP7nbQvjHX49Uur80FV3
