Story
Winston and Phoebe are beautiful Great Pyrenees/Anatolian shepherd mixes that have pretty good size paws. These puppies were dumped in somebody’s driveway in the country, where they sat all night, waiting for someone to find them. Winston and Phoebe currently weigh 20-22 lbs as of 7/14/24 – We estimate they will be around 65-75 lbs once full grown. These 2 are just as friendly as sweet as can be. When the owner of the home they were dumped at walked outside, they ran up to the owners, tails wagging and tongues out. They LOVE to kiss you and be right next to you. Winston and Phoebe are gentle giants. They are not crazy puppies, but they do love their playtime. Give them toys and they put them in their mouths and run all over the house and yard with them. They LOVE their toys. They can entertain themselves, but they prefer a play buddy (whether it’s an adult, child or other doggy) These gorgeous pups have been introduced to small and big dogs and get along great with both! They look up to other dogs for more confidence but would be great in a home with or without other dogs. No issues with cats at all - they get along GREAT with them. We can provide pictures of them lying on dog beds with them. They LOVE kids! They would prefer children over boring adults any day. They have the goofiest and friendliest of personalities. Winston and Phoebe also love water – they would make great adventure buddies. These 2 pups will bring joy, love and laughter in your life, please consider adopting today. ____________________________________________________________________________________ If you would like to adopt this doggy/puppy, please complete an application on our website: www.pawsitive-impact-animal-rescue.org This animal is healthy, up to date on vaccinations, current on preventions, dewormed and microchipped. Story
adoption donation $599 weight: 45 lbs Age: 2 years     Precious lives up to her name. She is a sweet and friendly dog who loves to run and play. Precious has been with the rescue for quite a while, she was treated for heartworm, but is negative now. She gets very excited when people visit, she would absolutely love a family of her own where she can play with other dogs.         Precious is an active girl, her tail is always wagging and she always looks like she’s smiling!  She is up-to-date on her vaccinations and is spayed. She is housebroken but like any rescue dog she may need some guidance says she adjust to a new home.    We really aren’t sure of her breed, she seems to have some shepherd and maybe some Shibu Inu, when we put her pictures into a Dog Scanner app she comes up with all sorts of breeds  most of which we’ve never heard of! What we do know is that Precious is a really awesome dog!     Wags is a registered 501 C3, it is a struggling rescue in Mississippi where one woman cares for almost 150 homeless dogs. Adoption donations are our only source of funding for the rescue. Adoption fees include the transport, vaccines, spay or neuter.   For more information, please email Mariaeftimiades@yahoo.com  July 14, 2024, 4:18 pm

Story
Are you looking big boy that’s the life of the party? Then Hatter is the one for you! 😍 Hatter is 5 months old and around 35-40lbs, so while he’s smaller than his brother Tee, it’s not by much! He must take after his Anatolian shepherd dad in his size, and we know his mama so we see where his sweet temperament comes from 🥰 Hatter has big personality to match his size! He loves other dogs and humans and just wants to play and adventure. We think he’d do well in a home with or without dogs, as long as his family has lots of affection to give! 🐶 Hatter is intelligent and eager to please. He has been in a foster home, but is now in boarding since his foster moved, and that’s no place for a big puppy to grow up! If you’re looking for a buddy that’s equal parts adventure and snuggles, Hatter is the one for you 🐾 If interested in adopting one of our available pets, please fill out an application at https://www.dixiegirldogrescue.org/forms PLEASE MAKE NOTE- OUR DOGS ARE FOSTERED IN ALABAMA (UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED), OUR DOGS TRANSPORT TO THEIR NEW FAMILIES IN RHODE ISLAND AFTER THEY HAVE BEEN ADOPTED. Story
Noel is ready for her forever family! Her brother, Nicholas, is in his forever home and now it’s her turn 💜 This cutie is a 7 month-old Anatolian Shepherd mix. She is a little shy when she first meets new people but warms up quickly with the promise of treats! Either a few treats, Noel will do just about anything 😝 Noel is good on leash and in her crate! She is fostered by a working family, so she is used to being kenneled while her family is gone. She is great with other pups but does best in a small group play setting, she thinks dog parks are overwhelming! She loves to play, but also loves to snuggle up on the couch 🥰 With a love for cuddling and a playful spirit, she'd thrive in a family that enjoys both. She is potty & crate trained and sits on cue! She is very treat-driven which makes her so much fun to train. Whether as a single dog receiving lots of love or part of a furry friend group, Noel is ready to bring joy to her forever home. 🐾🩷 If interested in adopting one of our available pets, please fill out an application at https://www.dixiegirldogrescue.org/forms PLEASE MAKE NOTE- OUR DOGS ARE FOSTERED IN ALABAMA (UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED), OUR DOGS TRANSPORT TO THEIR NEW FAMILIES IN RHODE ISLAND AFTER THEY HAVE BEEN ADOPTED.
