Story
Kelso was surrendered to me by a family friend. We had Kelso since he was 4 months and he will be 2 years old in March 2025. His friendly but is very territorial/defensive to new people, to the point where we cant have guests over and walks with him are very hard. He is also very defensive when scolded in a harsh tone by people he doesnt trust. His friendly and playful with my little brothers and sisters but is not good with strangers. For that reason he is a great guard dog, but since we rent we don’t trust him around new tenants. Besides that he loves to play and nap and is very smart. He can easily pick up new commands.

Story
This is Mr. Rochester. He will be 7 years old this coming June and has been with us since he was a small pup. This year we welcomed our first baby into our little family. In early December 2024, he bit our baby in the face while the baby reached for an empty bowl. Back in 2018, he also nipped one of our nephews after the nephew leapt up for a hug. When it comes to children and babies, Chester has often shown high levels of stress and anxiety. In general, Chester is an anxious dog. He is really reactive to strangers and does not always get along with other dogs, especially if they are bigger than him. He does better around strange dogs outside his home. He was raised with an older brother and a cat. He has lunged at and been aggressive towards the cat in the past. Chester is incredibly loyal and will follow you around. He loves to cuddle and listens really well.

Hi, I’m Goose! I’m a four-month-old, five-pound Terrier/Poodle mix who was rescued after surviving parvo. I am the most happy-go-lucky little guy. I love kids, dogs, meeting new friends of all kinds, a good game of fetch, and being an adventure buddy. I do great in the car, sleep through the night, and am doing pretty well at potty pad training. I absolutely love toys and chewies, and having a friend to share it with makes them even better. My dream family would be home most of the time, and make me part of all the action. I would love to have a dog friend too because I’m very playful and love to keep up with the big kids. Speaking of kids, you might be surprised to hear it because I’m so little, but I LOVE them! My seven-year-old foster brother is the love of my life, and I like him most of all (second is my foster mom, but that’s only because she feeds me). Despite my rough start in life, I have a huge heart and so much love to give. I am a super happy guy who just wants a family of my very own for the new year.
