Story
Berkeley is a major snuggler, affectionate, and a playful goofball! We are looking for a household with adults only who want to devote plenty of time to exercising with her, socializing her gradually, and helping her build confidence. She may also live well with another dog if given a slow introduction. Fine in her crate for a short while, she is working on longer periods, goes on potty breaks about every 5 hours during the day, and sleeps through the night. Berkeley needs continued practice while leash walking. Although often scared of dogs and passers-by, she warms up to those who greet her calmly, and can be redirected with a treat and a gentle tug on the leash. This girl loves being by your side, favors a lapdog lifestyle, and, if you let her, will happily share your bed! She can also be independent, entertaining herself with her toys. Berkeley is a joy to be around and will keep you amused with her antics! HISTORY Berkeley's former owner was unable to care for her due to medical issues. HEALTH Berkeley is up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed, microchipped, and heartworm negative. PHYSICAL Berkeley’s beautiful white coat must be groomed every 4-to-6 weeks. She has black eyes, a black nose, black floppy ears, and beautiful black markings: on her face mask, her head and back, and a smidge on her toes.
