Story
Drizella (Ella) and her buddy Anastasia (Asia) were rescued from an abandoned trailer after their human died. They were really stressed out, confused and living in filth. Thankfully someone reached out to our friends at Hope For Paws so they could be rescued, vetted and have a second chance at a better life. She’s good on leash. Good with other dogs and lived with a cat that was also rescued and already adopted. Good in the car and very loving. Even though they were rescued together, we are not convinced they need to stay together. They argue like typical sisters but they do love each other. Drizella is the queen of side-eye. She’s hilarious.

Story
What a cutie baby Buster is! He was found alone and scared in the streets at 2 months old. He's about 5 months old now and has already developed a big personality! He LOOOOVES to play with other dogs and toys. He's great inside the home and super affectionate. Buster is looking for an adult household with yard access. He would love to find a home with another dog as a companion that is young and playful. He has a friend named Cookie at our rescue so if you are looking for two dogs, these two are great together! Story
Please note that we are ONLY accepting applications from homes with at least one calm dog for Luke. To be successful, I must have the following: •A caring, calm owner • A back yard would be ideal • Another dog for Luke to play with • A crate to sleep in• A doggie door Additionally, a backyard fance that is higher than 6 feet. Hi, I’m Luke! I’m a shy, adorable boy, who will become your best friend once I get used to my new home. My favorite things are another dog to show me around the place, quiet walks with my pack, resting on a nice comfy dog bed, and playing with my friends.I’ve been in training recently and have learned so much! I walk nicely on a leash, can walk on a treadmill, speak doggie door, have excellent house manners, don’t help myself to furniture, take treats gently, ride nicely in a car, and I like to chase balls but don’t bring them back. I am told I’m an excellent companion, I’m not sure what that means, but I do love my trainer. I’m sure I will love you too; I just may need a little time to adjust to my new surroundings.I like to sleep in a crate at night, and hope you will follow some of my trainer’s suggestions. I am not the best with change, so a calm dog in the household, who can show me the ropes, is a must. I will thrive in an adult-only household with consistency, regular exercise, and no cats. I don’t like strangers and would prefer not to be in places with many people. I’m shy, remember? I should also share that I’m on meds for anxiety; no shame here, that are helping me to feel so much better! https://www.muchlove.org/animals/luke

Story
Wilson's owners lost their home when he was just a puppy. They brought him to the shelter, and there he stayed for 14 months—more than half his life! But he was a favorite, playing with other dogs, swimming in the kiddie pool, and even practicing Search and Rescue work! The shelter is no place for a puppy. We didn't want Wilson to grow up in a cage. So we rescued him, and he's now having fun with our friends at Humble K9. Wilson is an enthusiastic dude who loves activity. (We think he might have some herding dog in him somewhere.) Neighborhood walks, trail runs—even agility training. Wilson's down to try it. He's a people pleaser who isn't just a dog--he's a Partner! Wilson is medium-sized at 55 lbs. He is snipped, chipped, and vaxxed and ready to meet you. Come visit Wilson and let him show you his stuff! Adoption application: https://outtathecage.org/applications

Story
Breed: Australian Cattle Dog / Jack Russell Terrier X DOB: 1/2021 Gender: male Altered: yes Coat: medium Size: medium Color(s): black/white/brown Description:Hi, I'm Mando, an active Australian Cattle Dog / Jack Russell Terrier X in need of a new home as my owner sadly has passed away. I'm thankful CARL has accepted me into their adoption program and will help me find my forever home. I know basic commands and enjoy going for walks. It's unknown how I would do with dogs, cats or children. A trainer thought an adult only home or a home with older children would be best for me. I do bark at other dogs on walks, but I'm calm when in a dog park. If you have a fur baby in the home already, please bring him/her along so we can do a meet and greet. I've adjusted to other people when my owner went into hospice and lots of new people were coming into the house.Although my world has been turned upside down, I've adjusted as best I can. If you have room in your heart and home for me, please fill out an online application to meet me.August 19, 2024, 7:36 pm

I don't know what that all is, but I do know I need a new place to call home.I'm good with other dogs and cats too, but I may chase the cat because I want to play. I'm active and good with older children, but not with younger children.I enjoy chasing tennis balls and going for walks.I need people to go slowly with me, letting me settle into my new home. Story
Breed: Australian Shepherd DOB: 5/17/2014 Gender: female Altered: yes Coat: long Size: large Color(s): blue merle Description:Hi, I'm Gracie, a gorgeous Australian Shepherd who is in need of a new home as a previously torn ACL which remains susceptible to re-injury has made my current two story home uninhabitable for me.I enjoy eating, sleeping, cuddling and chilling. I'm good with children and cats, although I might want to chase them, but just to play. I'm not good with other dogs inside or outside the home. I'm still active, but due to my previous injury I need to be in a single story home and my activity needs to be monitored. I tend to be anxious at times so I take  trazadone to help keep this under control. My owners let me sleep with them, I hope you will too.As you can see from my photos, I ride great in the car, I enjoy playing in the sprinklers and I've been to the snow. I know basic commands and I'm sure I could learn more.If you're interested in meeting me, please fill out an online application.June 23, 2024, 3:17 pm
