Story
This handsome little guy is Finnegan (Finn). Finn is approximately 7 months old and weighs approximately 32 lbs. His breed is uncertain, but based upon his current size and weight, we expect he will likely weight between 50-55 lbs. when full grown. Finn is extremely intelligent and such a happy, sweet little guy who loves everyone he meets. Finn is very calm for a puppy, though he loves playing with the dogs in his foster home, and has loved all the kids he has encountered. Finn has not been around cats that we are aware of, however, as calm as he is we can’t imagine he would not do well with cats. Finn also loves playing with toys and chewing on bones, and then cuddling with his foster mom and dad and getting rubs and kisses after playtime is over. He sleeps in a dog bed in his foster parents’ bedroom and doesn’t make a peep. Finn is doing excellent with the come, sit, stay, off, no and kennel commands and is currently working on lay down. He does well walking with a harness and short leash. He will pull some and weave if the leash is left extended. Finn is very treat motivated and loves to be praised and get rubs. He has done exceptionally well with potty training, however, his foster dad is retired and home with him all day and he has a consistent potty routine. Finn has had short stays in the kennel and has kept his kennel clean and dry. Finn is doing extremely well with training for his age, but will require time, attention and continued work with training to grow into an amazing family member. Finn’s adoption fee is $300 which covers his neuter, vaccines, microchip with registration and heartworm and flea preventatives to date.
