A real show stopper! His gorgeous coat just shimmers in the sun. Not just a beauty king, he makes it even better with his extra sweet temperament. He has been bred to be a friendly, good dog. Perfect for a very best friend and family dog. When he has met other dogs, he has wanted to play and has been very good with all he has met. Sugar was surrendered to an overcrowded shelter in Johnson City, Tennessee because her owner was having financial issues and could no longer care for her. After being rescued by K-9 Lifesavers, Sugar is now ready to find her forever home. Could that be with you? Sugar has a playful nature and infectious energy. Her friendly disposition makes her a perfect companion for other dogs. She's always up for a game of fetch or a fun playdate with her canine friends. But it's not just her playful side that stands out. Sugar's sweet and loving nature make her an ideal candidate for just about any home. She's always ready to give love and seeks the same in return. At Sugar's young age, she is in her prime for training and socialization too. Adopting Sugar would mean endless love, companionship and a whole lot of cuteness. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.           Adoption fees cover basic vetting, spay/neuter surgery (at partner vet if not fixed before adoption), rabies, distemper/parvo vaccinations, treatment for worms, heartworm testing, monthly heartworm prevention and monthly flea/tick prevention (while the animal is in our care), and transport costs from high-kill shelter. Please note that on average, K-9 Lifesavers spend significantly more on each dog than their adoption fee. Adoption fee for HW positive dog also covers heartworm treatment at our partner vets. Foster Program:    Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.  For more information on becoming a foster parent, and our Foster Program, visit  http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/foster/  or email our Foster Coordinator at  foster@k-9lifesavers.orgSponsor Me!    Make a  tax-deductible donation  today by visiting us at http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/donate/  . Story
Jasper, was rescued from the streets, came to us 2.5 years ago after being rehomed due to family circumstances. He had prior training, which we've continued, and he's a very good boy. Jasper's ideal day involves relaxing on the couch while you're away, a joyful reunion when you return, and then some spirited squirrel chasing in the backyard. He's athletic and needs a fenced yard to run and play. After his bursts of energy, he's a champion cuddler, curling up next to you for some quiet time. Due to his past, Jasper has some behavioral tendencies. He's very protective of his home and owner. Therefore, we're seeking a specific type of home for him: No other pets or children. Experienced dog owner: Someone familiar with and able to maintain his e-collar training. Fenced yard: Essential for him to safely roam and exercise. We love Jasper and want the very best for him. It's been a difficult decision, but we believe this is the right step to ensure his happiness and well being.

Story
It is with a heavy heart that we need to find a new home for our dog, Theo. Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond our control, we are no longer able to provide the best environment for him. Theo is an Australian Kelpie/Pit mix who is full of love. However, he would do best in a home without children or cats. He thrives in a calm environment with someone who can provide structure, patience, and lots of love. About Theo: 🐶 Very sweet, caring, good companion/protector. He loves to play but knows when to calm down and rest. 🏡 Best in a home with no young children or cats. 🐕 Would thrive with an experienced dog owner. 💉 He is neutered. We love Theo deeply and want to ensure he goes to a home that understands his needs.

Bumper would like to be an only pet in the home, giving all his love to his person. Bumper has a tendency to want to fight with other dogs that are shy and/or timid.  He is also very strong with a typical breed herding instinct, so children in the new home should be at least 13 years old, unless the family is very experienced with understanding the breed. She is excited about learning what you want her to know and do, and can't wait to get started. At only one year old, she is just out of puppyhood, but beyond chewing on everything in sight as she already has all her beautiful white big girl teeth. Since she is so young, she should have many years to play in your yard and go on wonderful walks with you, in fact, an entire lifetime! This rescue has helped her along by getting her a full vet check up and all her shots for you. She is healthy, happy, and ready to go. A SPECIAL NOTE TO YOU FROM HER FOSTER: This sweet girl SO loves 'her' person!!! Is that person you? Our foster girl is a playful fun loving, skittish but oh SO sweet pup!! She is 100% housetrained & has free roam of the home when we are away.
