Story
Moose is full of happiness as you can image. He has strong sense of herding and is always down for a walk through the woods. Moose is in need a home with lots of room to run and play. He has lived with other dogs so it is recommended that he go to a home with other dogs. While he enjoys showing cats how much love he can give, it would be recommended that he goes to a home without cats.

Story
Jack Blue Heeler mix Neutered Male 5 years old, 50 pounds Sometimes, when we transfer dogs from crowded shelters, we roll the dice, but Jack has been a dream to foster. Jack’s foster mom tells us that he is very sweet, loving and friendly. He loves to ride in the car and Jack puts the joy in walking when they go twice per day. Recently his fosters brought in a Yorkshire terrier and they had so much fun together… no problems whatsoever adapting to one another. Also, they decided to try taking Jack to the dog park and reported that he enjoyed running with the other dogs there. Jack is roughly five years old and 50 pounds. He’s neutered, current on his vaccines and microchipped. The shelter listed him as a blue heeler mix, so his breed would be happiest in a home with activity. He is house trained, leash trained and crate trained. Jack also knows sit, shake and come, as just a few of his commands. So, it’s safe to say, Jack is ready if you are! Since he’s been such a love and we fell short on our goal to have him posted before Valentine’s Day, we’re offering a $50 discount on his adoption fee (normally $300.00)  for any applications received before the end of February. Please apply online at www.NebraskaNoKill.org.  February 22, 2025, 9:27 am

Story
Dodge is a fantastic dog! He is 7-8 months old and still has all the feisty playful personality. He has great manners, is kennel and house trained! He gets along great with large breed dogs and has been around other large breeds and does great, however he constantly tries to herd and 'correct' small dogs by biting them. He will do great in a home with no small dogs and a large yard to roam and play as he LOVES to play outside! If you are familiar with herding breeds, Dodge is your guy. If not, please be sure to research herding breeds.
