Story
**Meet Bert and Ernie!**
Bert (Merle) and his brother Ernie (black & tan) are two of the lucky few who found their way into rescue after being abandoned in the middle of the woods in rural Alabama. Despite being covered in fleas, dehydrated, and hungry, these resilient pups quickly bounced back and began to show their adorable and sweet personalities.
These brothers are currently being fostered in a home with other dogs, a cat, chickens, and kids, so they’re well-accustomed to different kinds of friends! They love to go anywhere for a treat and have the softest fur you’ll ever feel.
**Ernie** is black and tan with the cutest half tail. He's super outgoing and always wants to be by your side.
**Bert**, on the other hand, has a beautiful merle coat. He’s a bit more reserved but is also a shadow, quickly rolling onto his back for belly rubs and scratches.
Both pups are extremely submissive and ready to find their forever home where they can continue to share their love and sweetness.
If you’re looking for a loving companion, either one of these boys could be the perfect addition to your family!
