Story
Lily is a beautiful Border Collie who has endured a past of neglect and mistreatment. Despite the painful memories, she has remained a gentle, loving, and bright spirit. Her resilience is truly inspiring. Lily adores people, but due to her past, she may lie down in fear when meeting someone new. With a little time and patience, however, she quickly warms up and reveals her sweet, affectionate nature. Though once hurt by humans, she still longs for the warmth and love of a kind-hearted companion. She gets along well with other dogs and has a naturally calm and social temperament. Because she hasn’t lived in a home environment before, she’s still learning proper house manners and isn’t fully house-trained yet. She may have a few accidents as she adjusts, but with a consistent routine and gentle guidance, she’ll pick up outdoor potty habits in no time. As a Border Collie, Lily is incredibly intelligent and eager to learn. With steady training and meaningful bonding, she has the potential to blossom quickly. Lily is looking for a warm, patient family who can show her that the world can be safe and loving. In return, she will become

Story
Currently in a Seattle foster home Cola is a bright and clever pup who was sadly abandoned but has kept his happy and loving spirit. Rescued just in time from a shelter, he’s now ready to find his forever home! Cola is smart and well-trained—he already knows sit, down, shake, and crate and picks up new commands quickly. He loves playing fetch and tug-of-war, but indoors, he’s calm and well-behaved. He sleeps peacefully in his own space and doesn’t struggle with separation anxiety. He’s not too interested in other dogs and may be a bit wary of those who bark at him, so he’d do best as the only dog in the home. He absolutely loves walks but needs a little guidance to stop picking things up from the ground. Cola is friendly with new people and doesn’t fear adult men. While he tends to bond more with grown-ups, he’s also gentle with kids. He enjoys car rides and waits patiently at the vet, even when he’s a little nervous. With a loving and respectful owner, Cola will shine as the loyal, affectionate, and well-mannered companion he’s meant to be. He’s the perfect mix of playful and calm—all he needs now is a family to call his own!

Story
Oreo is a 3-year-old male Border Collie/Jindo mix who was rescued from a shelter just before he was scheduled for euthanasia. Sadly, and for unknown reasons, before finding himself abandoned and alone at the shelter, his teeth had been deliberately ground down. Amazingly and despite this, he remains a lively, energetic, and otherwise healthy dog who is remarkably intelligent, craves human interaction, and is very loyal to his guardian. Oreo has the exceptional intelligence typical of Border Collies, fully understanding various commands such as "sit," "wait," and "house." He is also deeply loyal to his guardian and has a strong capacity for forming deep bonds typical of the Jindo breed. He is truly a remarkable dog who has the capacity to grow into an even more amazing companion through continued obedience training and by establishing a trusting relationship with his guardian. Oreo is incredibly affectionate and loves people. He is also very social and gets along well with other dogs. However, he has a habit of jumping when excited, which requires caution when a person is interacting with him in a low position. With consistent training, this behavior can be corrected. Being highly energetic, Oreo possesses excellent jumping ability. At the training center, he has been known to leap over fences—not out of a desire to escape, but due to his curiosity and strong attachment to his guardian. In fact, he has demonstrated behavior where he jumps over a fence when he hears his guardian's voice outside, only to return shortly after. For this reason, families with yards should ensure proper supervision, and a high-fenced environment may be more suitable. The Ideal Family for Oreo is: ✔️ Someone who understands the high intelligence and energy levels of Border Collies, the exceptional loyalty of Jindos, and can provide sufficient mental and physical stimulation ✔️ Someone with experience in training or handling large dogs ✔️ Someone who values bonding with their dog and is ready to build a deep connection ✔️ Someone who can provide ample space for Oreo to move and exercise freely Despite his heartbreaking past, Oreo still loves people and finds his greatest happiness in being with his guardian. With so much intelligence and energy, he has limitless potential to become the perfect lifelong companion if he meets the right family, one that understands him and is ready to provide him with love, care, and proper training. Oreo is waiting for his new family! ❤️
